Yeah I really don't understand the media's portrayal of Amazon in Australia. I've found heaps of great deals and spent a shit load during Prime Day.
if we're being real, Amazon was built up to be something amazing, then when they launched were entirely underwhelming. Since then, they've been a bit okay, but I've spent way more PSN digital sales and even on EB sales than the pittance I've spent with Amazon. I got one thing from Prime Day and would have gotten perhaps another two things if they actually sent out their deals rather than expecting us to go there to browse.

TBH, other than playstation consoles/controllers and switch consoles (which were REALLY fantastic prices) the selection was mostly an odd assortment of stuff with underwhelming discounts.
I mean.. boxes of tissues? At twice the price of woolworths? Get real.
Conversely I got a bunch of shampoo and shower gel and toilet roll cheaper than Woolies (in addition to PS4 and controller). Not all the smaller items were bad!
