    The normal rate is 30k

      yeah, platinum edge is usually 15k and it now says 30k.

  my spouse doesn't have her own amex card but is a supplementary holder of my card. Can i refer her and get the bonus points?

  Would be handy if they brought back the 100K Qantas ultimate deal to coincide with this. I doubt it will happen.

      Last time I checked I could not refer people to the Qantas AMEX card with my explorer.

        Yeah I don't think so. But with Explorer, you can refer to Explorer, platinum edge, platinum charge, essentials

      Actually, 170K as the referee would get an extra 10K too.

  Great deal for the person referring, but for the person signing up not so great. I have the Velocity Platinum, and wife is due to churn to a new card. Hoping they raise the sign up bonus from the regular 60k to 100k which they have done in previous years

  Came across this… I can't find any further information though. Referral page still says friend gets $0 fee - no mention of bonus points. If anyone can find more official information confirming it seems like an okay deal with the $0 cards including bonus points now too.
