I previously had a Fenix 3HR so its a pretty big step up from that.
I'm very big on trail running and the mapping (openstreetmaps) is incredibly useful for trails - its an absolutely killer feature.
Not sure if it would be worth upgrading from the 5 to the 5 plus though.
Yeah I just got a 5x about a month ago and have been using basecamp to plan out some hikes over in Canada and the US. Pretty cool feature, although I haven't had a chance to test it out on the watch yet.

Are you sure the code was accepted? At the top of the page I get "The following errors occurred: The code you entered is not valid."
edit: that was on the US site, on the au subsite it gets accepted with no discount…
