When does the promotion run?
The promotional offer is available for the period that it appears under “Promotional Offers” in the Selling section of your My eBay account ('Promotion Period'). eBay reserves the right to cancel or change the offer at any time.
Items must be listed and available for purchase within the specified promotion period in order to qualify for the promotion.
What is the promotion?
Pay no Insertion Fees or Final Value Fees for the first 10 items you list and make available for purchase during the Promotion Period (see exclusions below).
Insertion Fees are the fees to list your item, and Final Value Fees are the selling fees charged on sale of an item, calculated as a percentage of your total sale price. The promotion does not apply to fees for optional features or upgrades. Learn more about eBay fees.
Who is eligible for this promotion?
This offer is only available to users who have never sold an item on eBay before or have not sold on eBay in over 12 months. Users who have previously sold on eBay within the last 12 months and eBay store subscribers are not eligible to participate.
You are eligible for this promotion if you have received an email from eBay inviting you to participate in it, if you register for the offer by clicking ‘Take Up Offer’ and/ or the offer appears under “Promotional Offers” in the Selling section of your My eBay account. To check whether you are eligible for the promotion please login to your account and follow the following steps:
Sign into “My eBay”;
Click on “All Selling” in the left hand navigation menu;
Look for “Promotional Offers” and see whether this offer is listed as an active offer.
If the offer does not appear under “Promotional Offers” in the Selling section of your My eBay account, then you are not eligible for this offer.
This promotional offer is not transferable or exchangeable.
The promotion is linked the eBay account under which it appears. Qualifying sellers must list using the USER ID associated with that eBay account.
Members whose eBay accounts are temporarily or indefinitely suspended or made inactive prior to or during the Promotion Period, are not eligible for this promotion.
Sellers with listing restrictions will still be restricted by their listing restrictions and will not be able to participate.
What exclusions and other conditions apply?
This offer applies to listings in Auction-style or Fixed Price format, but does not apply to listings in Classified Ad format.
This promotion does not apply to “Excluded Categories” which include Businesses for Sale (11759), Aircrafts (63676), Boats (26429), Caravans/Motorhomes (32633), Cars (29690), Motorcycles (32073), Trucks/Commercial Vehicles (6049), Real Estate (10542), Services (316), Flights (3253), Tickets (1305), Travel (3252) and Vouchers/Gift Certificates (172008).
The promotion only applies to listings in one category. If you add an additional category to your listings, Insertion Fees (and other applicable fees) will apply for the additional category.
The email invitation from eBay to participate in this offer is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be used by a third party.
You may be excluded from this promotion if your eBay account is subject to listing restrictions, suspended, restricted or made inactive or if your seller performance falls to Below Standard prior to or during the Promotion Period.
Listings that contravene eBay's policies or do not otherwise comply with all of these Terms and Conditions are excluded.
The promotion only applies to single quantity listings.
Listings that automatically relist during the Promotion Period are not eligible for this promotion.
Good 'Til Cancelled Listings
Good ‘Til Cancelled listings created during the Promotion Period will be eligible for the promotion only until the listing automatically re-lists.
