    I wouldn't touch this thing with less than 4 years of warranty.

    few questions though

    What's the lamp life? I would be worried that a new lamp for this product would be hard to source compared to say BENQ or Epson.
    where would i buy/does it come with a wall mount? I can't find anything on it.
    does it come with interactivity options?

      It's a laser projector so they suggest 20,000 to 25,000 hours. If that's true the ti chip, the fans or the caps should fail first

      Yep… Well sort of. The new one (wemax one) is made by the same company (appotronics) but is not branded as Xiaomi.

      Its specs suggest the only difference is that it is black and 7000 lumens. However this projector isn't actually 5000 (iso or ANSI) lumens so I'm not sure what difference that makes. Some people have suggested that it's brighter but no actual measurements.

      One of the YouTube videos suggest that it comes natively with semi English menus unlike the Xiaomi one which requires more setup.

      As far as I can tell gearbest is the only place you can get it from, there is also a code to get free shipping on top of the "16% off" from the flash sale.

      Unless you really want a black projector or will be using the projector in a light environment the Xiaomi one in this deal looks like a better option right now. But prices might drop more in the future.

          It's pretty common for lumens to be overstated. On the phone right now but I think they measure it in the hdtvtest review on YouTube.

          Its supposed to still be very bright however.

          Apparently many DLP projector manufacturers quote the brightness as that of the light source (5000 in this case). As the colours are generated with a colour wheel the actual brightness is approximately a third of this (5000/3 = 1666 lumen)

          HDTVTest (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5Xqws6cWXU&t=645s) mention that they measured an output of 1600 lumen which seems consistent. I imagine if you are buying any other inexpensive DLP projector the lumens will be (over) stated in the same way.
