Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat from this deal. I have been continuously emailing them asking why it has taken more than half a year to get something, and at first in February, they said they are experiencing issues with their gift card vendor. After that, they kept telling me the gift card has been sent, and when I tell them I haven't received it they tell me they'll resend it. This has been going on for the past couple of months. Is there something I can do? This appalling customer support is going to deter me from purchasing ASUS products in the future.

What support?
They still haven't released their patches for TPM chips, so ALL their Xeon servers, tons of desktops and laptops, etc. remain vulnerable to all kinds of Spectre and Meltdown attacks to this day.
If you raise a support request, all you get are automated email responses and the occasional excuse/failure to read/comprehend case/unexpected case closure. Totally unprofessional support not just from the local team, but from HO- if it were otherwise they'd at least issue patches for the major flaws- let alone answer support cases appropriately
[Def avoiding ASUS from now on]
I had 2 Asus motherboards die on me years ago , Warranty was mission impossible and just gave up both times .
Bought a Ryzen on release and the only mobo available was an Asus so I reluctantly bought it . Turns out every time I connect it to my network my POE switch shuts down . Its a known problem with their Network adaptors , I sent them 3 or 4 emails then once again gave up .
I will never touch Asus again , I don't care how desperate I am .
Email them and have it sent to your work?
Request it be sent via registered post so you can track it
Will definitely try that, thanks!
I've had 2 dud Asus Modem Routers was sick of sending it to be repair/replaced within 6 months. Phone and email was pointless unless its in their script to follow, I ended up going to Facebook chat and issue got sorted in 2 days.
I tried the FB chat, and they've been about as helpful in resolving the matter as the person I was emailing.
I received mine this week.
Edit: Actually mine was from a later deal. You should definitely chase it up.
Happens for every promotion they do, ive been involved in 2, one took 9 months with exactly the same excuses you specify, the other took 4 months.
Not surprised to be honest. Their warranty support has always been appalling in Australia. Then again it took Samsung 6 months to send me a replacement SSD after Diane claimed to have sent it every week.
