Mate, you're killing me with all the quality watch deals…. Need more wrists!

    • +9

Lol… I would lose my arms if my wife opened my cupboard.

      • She won't know if you keep them in your car clubbox or sunglasses holder.

  • Opinion on upgrading from a SKX 007?

    • +1

Got one I gave in. It's too pretty.

      • +1

This is an upgrade. No disappointment if you get this. The SKX can become a beater.

      • +2

By the power vested in me it is my solemn duty to hereby absolve you of all blame and any residual guilt concerning the essential acquisition of this premium exquisite horological masterpiece.

    • I have a skx009 and I'm still looking at a blue/grey samurai as its different enough for me. It might be an upgrade on a technical level (accuracy, engineering, etc) but for me if I want accuracy I have a clock on my pc, if the watch looks good and makes you feel good then go for it.

    Nice find mate 👍

  • +3

    Very nice!

  • Google cache says $329. No bracelet. Hmmmm…

    • +3

rubber kills if for me …. i have a different coloured one but without a stainless steel bracelet it’s not appealing to me …..it’s cheap to by a rubber strap but the cost of an original seiko stainless bracelet is a lot, better buy stainless version and swap bracelet.

  • What makes this a prospex? Still has mineral glass.

    • hardlex?

    • +1

Prospex is meaningless, even the basic ass SKX007 is a Prospex model.

Sapphire would be nice but Hardlex is tough enough for 99% of use.

      • sapphire is brittle so it’s scratch resistant by can be easily shattered, mineral is less scratch resistant but doesn’t shatter as easily …..hence hardlex, the best of both ….. but not 100% of either.

  • Shame the other blue only model isn't at this price. Don't like the red/blue bezel.

    • Awww you drink Coca Cola then?

  • +1

Nice… I bought it two months ago for $329… wonder if I have a price drop guarantee on my cc…

  • +2

Trying hard to hold myself back from this deal, but I need a Seiko in my collection, plus auto hand/self winding and looks good. Hmmm…

  • +2

Just what I needed, thanks watchnerd.
TRS sweetened the deal, picked up two, one as a gift.

  • +1

Would buy the Samurai if it had a metal bracelet. Can't get a Strap Code for Samurais either…

    • I changed the bracelet on another Seiko 5 to Nato. Will see if it fits this one. It is 22mm too.

  • +4

Excellent price for the Citizen Eco-Drive Altichron BN4045-12X which is listed for $950 here.

  • Are most Seiko watches now made in china? do they only make $1000+ ones in Japan or what

  • Any special for Seiko Auto Prospex SRPB49K Blue Samurai?

  • Buy one thanks op

  • Aw man. I got a Pepsi Samurai for $329 during the last deal…
