Very good price considering it’s local stock and you can buy in store directly. This is a decent headphone with ANC. Not as good as Sony and Bose but the price is value to the quality.

I'm interested in trying these and the more expensive ones for comfort and sound quality. Can anyone suggest a shop that lets you give them a test run? Or do most people just buy based on reviews?

These are not comfortable at all. They don't have much padding on the top, and the cushions are very narrow. JB hi-fi for trying them on. I would spend extra and get a good Sony out Bose pair of you can, or perhaps hold out for a good deal on Bose or Sony
Just heads up, the controls are pretty bad, there is a low volume hiss, they look very large on anyone's head, they don't have much padding on the top so can be uncomfortable after a few hours or less. I would only buy if your max budget is $250ish as they are decent value at this price.
