Like the 20% storewide promo they do.. they pull ALL the tags showing specials off the shleves so it is retail, unlike supercheap.
Their retail prices are much higher than supercheap in my experience. GTX2 oil RRP $36.99 @ repco, $29.99 @ supercheap. SC goes down to $19.99 couple of times a year too.
I was pleasantly surprised to walk into repco last night for ignition leads, 6 spark plugs, oil and filer, radiator coolant, power steering fluid (dear as guts for my model car). Thinking of going back again today to order a new ignition coil and some other items. I just done a quick calculation (rough) and with the 20% off, i saved about $25 for all of the above at Repco rather than SC.
@ThePistonHead, I would agree with you there some what that SC are cheaper on most items, but their staff lack the technical experience of the guys in Repco. Few years back i was having issues with my steering, SC gave me some wrong advice which resulted in me having to replace the steering column… ~$1,500 later… but if you know exactly what you're looking for SC are pretty good. Need expert advice, head to Repco.
