Just wanted to clarify, how do you you can use the discounted Catch gift cards to get the maximum possible discount?
I thought you couldn't buy giftcards with other giftcards. Does Woolies still allow customers to self-serve and buy the giftcards?
The new self checkouts allow buying gift cards with gift cards, otherwise buy them at a checkout.
I always buy my gift cards with wish egift cards and have never been stopped a single time.
As for how to get the maximum possible discount, Catch doesn't enforce the gift card limit they say they have, so just get 7 x $50 and 1 x $20, should cover the Switch plus delivery and have $1.80 left, so use price hipster and sort by lowest price first to find stuff for about a dollar to get with it if you want.
It seems to enforce the limit on me. When I try to add more than 5 cards, it says "You may only use no more than 5 gift cards at a time."
You can get Catch GCs at 7.5% off from private sellers if there's no GC sales like the auspost one, so that's a great way to add a little saving over the 5% that you can get yourself :)
So minimum 7.5% savings on top of whatever price the deal is, or 10 or 20% on top depending on the Catch GC sale going on at that point!

@Doggiie: Nah, don't think so. I sent out a whole heap during the discounted GC deal for people to get Switches etc, only two people had issues and that was because I accidentally sent a code that I sent to someone else.
Other people were messaging me half a week later and saying thanks for the code and it worked, I even sent some out at 3am and people used them at midday with no issues.
Not sure if the codes eventually expire, but they last a lot longer than the hour, even if you generate more.

Gift cards are discounted every month or two, based on the number of deals so far this year for Catch gift cards, so keep an eye out.
Shipping should be about $10 if you don't have club catch, and with the minimum membership length they've now imposed it's cheaper to just pay the shipping if you don't plan on buying from Catch in future.
