First time poster. Just found this whilst searching for one to replace my aging DeathAdder 2013 Edition. Cheapest you can find elsewhere in Australia is around $75 AFAICS.
Razer Deathadder Elite $59 (or $50.15 w/ PLUS15 - eBay Plus Members, or $56.05 w/ PULL5) @ PC Byte on eBay

Mine has been going strong for 7 years I guess ymmv?
If your mouse is 7 years old then how can you comment on their current quality?
why is this being downvoted? Razer has had serious quality issues in the last few years
mine has been going for 8… haha the feet are worn down tho
Also had the rubber grip pull off mine within a year, this is actually my second as the first got RMA'd when the plastic randomly cracked on the left mouse button so 2 with quality issues
I have previously had 2 Razer mice which both had their grips "melt" and become "sticky". I am not sure if it's due to the weather being hotter here in Australia or just the quality, however I have not had the same issue with other brands (e.g. Logitech and Steelseries). These days I tend to avoid Razer because of those issues, along with having to sign into an online account to use mouse drivers …
My middle mouse button has died on two different Deathadders, currently on my third one and waiting for that to die too. I won't be buying another Razer after that.
edit: Just to be clear mine is a Deathadder from 2013 I believe, not the same model as posted.I tried to move away from Razer, i bought a g502. it felt great but the software wasn't as good as synapse 2. I didn't really give it much of a chance though, I found out i couldn't re-map the mouse wheel up/down. The official word from logitech was "we dont allow it" so i returned it.
I ended up buying another one of these.
Can't comment on their quality these days, but I've owned 3 of the 2013 Deathadders. Great mice, really liked them, but all 3 ended up suffering from issues with the left mouse button. The button would randomly either double click or un-click (if you were holding the button down, it would 'let go'). You can get around these issues by using software to control the debounce events (just Google 'mouse debounce software').
In the end, I ended up replacing mine with a Logitech G403. It's a similar size, shape, and price, and seems to be reliable so far. I can recommend it to anyone who loves their Deathadder but would like to try something else.
Just ordered the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition earlier today. I knew I should've waited -_-
Same, but honestly these seem basically exactly the same reading the ad. Plus ours was $8 cheaper.
Yep they use the same sensor so it comes down to shape and the lancehead being cheaper.
Available with code 'PASSCODE' at $47.320 now
Razer's quality is shit, had a DeathAdder, the sensor died after almost 2 years, I also own a orbweaver, the rubber grip started pilling off after 1 year and it became nasty as hell because of the glue. No more razer!
