Some Logitech Gear - 100% Cashback Via Online Redemption - Starts 1 Feb 2011

4040

Some Logitech Mice, Keyboards, Webcams, Headsets and Cooling Pads are able to claim 100% cashback from Feb 1

see the website here
http://www.logitechcashback.com.au

still not a bad deal - given that after cashback, you essentially get the product for free

The stickers are on ALL the products at Dick Smith Arndale - and on the sticker it says, "Purchase me and receive 100% cashback". The upload is a photo of the sticker itself. I got excited as I thought I could pick up a logitech steering wheel with the cash back, but upon upon further investigation, I can see that only a limited number of products are included in this deal.

Only applies to these old models but 5 per household is not bad.

M100 wired mouse
M215 wireless mouse
K200 keyboard
C200/C210 web cam
Clearchat style headset
MK250/MK260 wireless combo
N100/N120 cooling pad

$300,000 is available for the cashback. If there are just 3,000 customers, so far, who know about the deal, that's about $100 each.

So, just a heads up there is a chance you won't get a cashback

how is it? are you able to claim the second one because you have two different receipt?

    • you can claim different receipts

      • that's wat they say but it doesn't work. I cleared my cache and even used a different comp. Wont work.

        • really?
          wow. call customer service

        • Same here. Bought two sets of MK250s and on two receipts, just to be sure. Turned out to be a mistake as the first claim went through fine, the second one won't go. Tells me that I have already participated today or something like that.

      • I've put in 2x claims for 2x different receipts (one for OW and KMart) and they both worked for me

        • how? did u use different names or different address and are u claiming via EFT or cheque

  • Here is my calculation During the 6 hours only $12k is gone(Off-peak=9pm-9am) = $3k(it will dramatically increase soon) per hour
During peak hours i would expect it to be approx. 10k per hour during peak hours(Peak Hours=9am-9pm
so my estimate of how long this will last is a bit more than 1 day

But, taking into consideration the DUD claims, it may last 2 days

EDIT: BTW flashi007, you beat the Top Gear Post YAY

    • I'll eat my hat if it last a day.

I not so sure extrapolating the night time figure will give an accurate picture. (most people are asleep and all the shops are shut! (excl. kmart 24h).

      • yeah but my local kmart has nothing instock or they must be lying.

        • Which state are you in?
I bought mine from KMart Chirnside Park (24 hr store, outer east Melb). Still plenty of MK250 combo around.

        • nsw. I thought the guy was lying cos he was laughing on the phone and he knew i was after logitech products

      • Officeworks Sydney CBD

        Only has,

        C200's (entry level webcam)
        K200's (corded KB)
        and headsets.

        Nothing else.

what is the officework receipt number?

    • Its the barcode number according to the employee there. Correct me if I'm wrong.

      • I used the number under the date and the second half under the time. Hope I didn't screw up!

        • Yeah, under lowest prices everyday on the receipt, 16 digits

        • LOL… you typed in the employee's ID number

        • re: punni…erm…Employee ID is listed just above the 'lowest prices everyday' logo…

          "Team Member: 00###### Name"

        • re: raichu,

I was referring to Jacklynhydejr's comment, not Jackbob.

        • ah my bad…soz!

        • CRAP! I am always screwing something up :P

I circled on the receipt what number I entered, so hopefully they will figure it out. Cross-referencing with other claims, they will see the receipt number hasn't been submitted by anyone else.

Maybe I'll email them as well to be sure.

    • i asked the staff member from OW, they said it is the lst 6 digits of the bar code

  • how do you claim for jb hifi online purchase paid with paypal ?

    • just like u would claim and instore purchase. For the store suburb use this

Richmond VIC 3121. That's what was printed on my tax invoice.

      • TnC clearly stated online was ineligible so gooluck with the claim!!!

        • Could someone ring up and verify Jb hifi online is eligible ?

        • where?

        • I think it says "some online" but I could be wrong.

        • see 1st page i put it there for a purpose

        • Purchases of the Participating Product via eBay or similar online third party Internet websites reselling used Logitech products are also excluded from this promotion.

The above was from their TOC

  • 33K gone

    • your mean $23k?
as currently still at $275 XXX.
By the rate it going , most shops/people are closed/sleeping. I Also believe will only last a day(or so) as long as their site don't crash!!

      • sorry my bad haven't sleep yet :/

        • and there are still those who can not lodge their 2nd or more claims online (due to their system problems)

        • down to 269K now

  • Officework Glebe still have plenty of keyboards, headsets and corded mouse. Also plenty of the M215 wireless mouse, except its not BLACK - all of them red :(

    • Same as Five Dock. Lots of M215 RED - not eligible. No M215 Black.
It's fun seeing fellow ozbargainers with trolleys full of Logitech stuff. Some staff had no idea why we were there… :)

  • Do you send in the claim form as well?

  • So can you buy more than 5 items provided that they're on separate receipts?

    • -1

no and separate receipts do not seem to be working atm according to comments

    • -1

I'm pretty sure "5 claims per household" means 5 items, not 5 claim forms.

      • Clearly states: "If you are claiming multiple Logitech products and you have separate receipts for each purchase, you will be required to lodge separate claims for each receipt and send in all the original purchase receipts for each product purchased along with your printed claim form/s."

        • Only 1 reciept per day or something…i can't seem to claim the 2nd reciept

    • -1

Thought so, glad mine's on one receipt!

      • which oninne store did you can your stuff from (Just want to get the tax invoice straight away…)?

    • +1

Dont do a Broden, Share the love around for everyone!

  • +7

    CONFIRMATION VIA PHONE:

    1. They took my number and will call back to sort out the 2nd claim.
    2. Online purchases are eligible.
    3. You can send them printed tax invoices/ paypal invoices.
    4. You can claim ONLY 5 product per household. All 5 products can be the same models though

    not 25 products

    • @rack, thanks for verifying the above.

      • my pleasure

  • called logitech regarding submitting second receipt problem…rep said they will get back to me within the next 24 hours…not very re-assuring, seeing as all the money will be gone by then!

    • +1

I was told asap and that they will take my claim regardless of whether it runs out on the website. I was concerned about that too but the girl said she will sort it out

      • good of them, huh? seem like a good bunch.

  • I called logitech customer service and they told me its a technical issue and will be solved shortly :(

  • Went into Clayton Officeworks this morning… and found that people were raiding the store already…. one guy even came in wanting to do a refund for something he brought yesterday and wanting to put it through as today…. seems like he mad a racket as the staff had to get the manager to authorize for it…

p.s for those that want to get a clear chat headset from Glen waverley, there are some on the side strip of aisle 4/5 somewhere around there….

    • I went there. Got some stuff

  • just cleaned out DSE at corner of george st and barrack lane in CBD. And if you were the guy lining up with me at opening and your an ozbargainer post up =D

    Officeworks CBD is empty.

    got 2xM215, 2xClearchat Headset and 1xC200 webcam.

    Did anyone read this ?

    Multiple claims will be permitted, subject to the following: (a) claimants who have purchased multiple Participating Products in one (1) transaction will be permitted to claim multiple cash back claims on one (1) online claim form, up to a maximum of five (5) cash back claims per online claim form; (b) only one (1) cash back claim permitted per Participating Product purchased;

    (b) only one (1) cash back claim permitted per Participating Product purchased - does this mean you can only claim one of each product ??

    • You can claim one of each product "purchased". Purchased being the key word.
DSE was pretty empty for me. In and out.

    • read my comment above.

    • no it means you can only claim the cashback once with your reciept. I understand you can buy 5 of the same product and claim the total. Cashback form (drop down menu) allows that as well.

  • So since it's per household - if I own a rental property, I can claim twice with the same name/bank details just different address right ? i.e. 10 products 2 claims ?

    • No, because you don't live there. The tennants could but not you.

  • I notice that people are having trouble submitting 2nd claims. I can't even get the first one to work. "IMPORTANT: Your entry was unsuccessful. You have already entered this promotion today."

Anyone else get this? This was the first time I tried to submit a claim!

    • and now I just tried to submit it for the 3rd time and this time it finally worked. Yay!

  • All done. :)

  • My second claim just worked :)

  • Anyone find any N100's in Sydney? It's the only thing I'm missing from my stash…
Also the countdown on logitech's site doesn't work on iPhones :-(

    • +4

guess what platform doesn't have flash :P

    • dick smith online

    • i got mine from penrith.. there should be 1 left there.. there are 2 left @ wentworthville when i checked yesterday arvo

just call em all up mate

  • If you have more than one receipt does each one/claim form have to be in a separate envelope or can you put them together (stapled accordingly)?

    • +1

I would send 2 simply to not risk nullifying your claim.

  • +1

    MK250
    N100

bloody expensive at $109.90 for both from DSE, but it's worth it provided I get the cashback.

    • lol even though OW jacked up the price of N100 by $10 for today, it was still $73.25

      • the N100 alone was $59.95 at DSE, seems OW is ripping off people even more.

      • I only paid $39.25 at OW for the N100????? Are you sure they didn't charge you for two at that price???

        • yeah it's $39.25 and they jacked up the price by $10 as noted by footywiz11..

        • isn't footywiz saying he paid 73.25 for the N100?!? which is why the next reply says OW is obviously ripping people off…..in actuality DSE is the rip

        • Well, if we really want to do this …

They are all ripping us off but we don't care as long as logitech reimburses us :)

        • hmm yeah not sure what he's saying now.. but it was 39.25 when i bought it.. but on sunday it was on special for $29.25 even on their online site.. wentworthville OW still had the sticker price of $29.25 yesterday.. but it would've been updated by now

  • +2

anyone know what's the receipt number on a DSE receipt? the top one or the one next to the date and time?

    • +1

I have the same question. Could anyone help?

      • Yeah i got the same question, anyone?

        • +1

Called DSE, said its the top right number (should be xxx_xxxxxx).

  • 2nd claim form error has been resolved.

Just submitted 2nd form as I got:

    Officeworks
    Cooling pad N100
    Webcam 200
    Clearstyle headset

    BigW
    2 x Black N215 mice

Both seem to have gone through fine

$130 of stuff for free… If it all works then yes!

  • The 3rd wouldn't work, sh!t
