  Just be careful with it. Used something very similar in a mira. The whole cabling behind the 12v slot smoked up

  Numbers like 300psi are utterly meaningless for its purpose. Except maybe for road bike tyres that go over 100psi. What you need for a car tyre is the air volume displaced at something like 50psi to understand how it will work on a car tyre.

  I think that the 8 minute claim would be like Chinese lumens, drastically overstated. 12-15 mins would be my guess. Also, if you are looking to top up tyre pressure, it will be slowest to inflate the last few psi. It would be a beast on bike tyres I'm sure.

  To get something that runs off 12v, that somewhat compares to a 'servo' air compressor, think in the vicinity of $500. So 5% as fast as a servo compressor, maybe accurate :)

  What exactly is it that makes this "premium"? Cheap doesn't always make a bargain.

  $25.99 is regular price on eBay with free delivery. Neg for inflated original price and fake discount.

  Nothing to do with my vote but sold history shows these selling for $19.99 the last few months to give an idea of what they're normally worth.

    I bought something like this from kmart but haven't used it. Will it actually pump up car tires?
    I have it sitting in my 4x4 for an emergency but I didn't have high hopes with the $10 price tag.

      If the emergency is on the side of a road in the burbs you'll be fine. For any remote 4wding you'll be better off buying something reliable.

        I highly doubt that the reliability is affected by the location.
        I also doubt it has a GPS built in, in order to detect where you use it.
