Das Keyboard3 Model S (Blue) $121.55 + Shipping @ SB Technology

260

Good mechanical keyboard for a pretty low price? Don't know much about the seller but they're also selling the same keyboard through Amazon.

This is the original KRDASK3ULTMS1CO model.

  • Black keyboard comes with NO key labels, Cherry blue mechanical key switches, USB hub, made in Taiwan, now available in Australia
  • Das Keyboard sports best-in-class German-engineered gold-plated mechanical key switches that provide tactile and audio feedback making typing a pure joy.
  • Once you start typing, the tactile and audio clicks create positive reinforcing feedback.
  • It makes typing fun and addictive.
  • Blue LEDs provide a slick look and the new USB hub allows you to charge and sync your iPod or iPhone.
  • Fast typists and gamers will be glad to hear Das Keyboard has a full n-key rollover function allowing an unlimited number of keys to be pressed simultaneously.
  • An extra long USB cable fits through your desk grommet and keeps your workspace neat and tidy.

Please note: As these keyboards are mechanical in nature, there will usually be very slight variations in the tonal quality of the clicking sounds that the keys make.

Factors such as the location of each key on it's circuit board influence how closely the key is bound to the standoffs that secure the circuit board to the base, and so on. These slight variations are regarded as normal by the manufacturers.

I've bought a bunch of keyboards from these guys - in fact I'm typing on the exact same Cherry MX Blue Das Keyboard listed here.

Website might look a bit old school but shipping is always quite fast and hassle free.

Note that this keyboard is the version with no letters labelled (just has blank black keycaps) which isn't for everyone.

The fact this has no key labels should probably be highlighted very clearly in the description to avoid any surprises.

Ja. Das Keyboard ist nicht gut!

      • It's the first bullet point in the product description

        • -1

Yeah but… people don't read things

@Riczter: So no point in highlighting it in the description, is there? :-)

          @Riczter:
this keyboard is perfect for people that don't need to read their keycaps :)

Blue LEDs provide a slick look

Just like mosquitos are drawn to UV bug zappers, gamers are drawn to LED accessories. Although this keyboard has no key labels, it has the all important blue LEDs to mesmerised gamers.

  • Is there any benefit to no key labels other than to confuse non gamers? And some gamers.

    • +1

Not everyone who can touch type is a gamer.

i found that i became much better at typing, as i stopped looking at the keys.

    • Looks + people who are used to different layouts can have whatever they use without distraction of what the cap sees. Lots of people touch type too and maybe want to show that off for some reason

    Das a good keyboard.

    …i'll see myself out.

  • IMO you'd be much better off with this:

I have one and it is fantastic! This is the cheapest price I've seen in Australia, worth a post on its own?

    • Kailh Switches, I rather get Mx switches for the same price.

RGB is really overrated. I mean you play with it first few days. I have own RGB keyboard but now using standard white led ones. If you going to get RGB keyboard get corsair or razer because their software is far better than another ones(Corsair is better imo)

  • If it was brown switches, I'd buy …
