909 Tools $49 Each + Delivery (E.g. 24.5cc 4 Stroke Petrol Blower Vacuum Was $249) @ Kogan

310

Got an email with all 909 tools on clearance for $49.

Some aren't that cheap but others are RRP $200 or more…so they could be worth it. The blower has previously been on sale fo $99 so $49 seems worth it.

Don't forget price of delivery though which might be a deal breaker. Deliver of $61.58 to 6000 is a deal breaker for me…

    freight kills it

    good prices though

  • 909 is the old Masters brand, yeah?

    • +1

Correct. They used to have 909 days warranty.

    • It is actually the old GMC tools company reborn

With the end of Masters and burnt bridge with Bunnings 909 must well be on shakey ground, just Aldi sales

Can use Shipter to avoid shipping

    • … on the battery tools only for WA; the heavier items are all above the $20 Shipster cap.

    • Shipping for the blower vac to NSW 2065 is $28.30 so Shipster doesn't help :-(

    Good effort OP.

  • At $72 (postage included), this still appears to be the cheapest full crank blower vac around. Hedge then Vac, happy days, thanks OP.
Edit: Good news is, only one postage fee for two combined items.

It's a bargain for a 4 stroke, I have a Honda 4 stroke that is around $450-500 rrp, got it for $150 on Gumtree, cheapest I've seen new is around $200

I bought this when it was selling for $99 with free shipping, paid ~$70 with vouchers and at that price very happy with it, starts easily every time and does the job. Wanted 4-stroke as I already have Honda 4-stroke trimmer.

As mentioned above the 4-stroke blowers start at about $250 so for $70 I'm happy with it so far.

Aldi were selling them under the Garden Line brand, check out the youtube video it's the same blower just rebadged https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIhhxmFE9m8

  • Yeesh - $44.02 to Brisbane

Is the 909 12V 4Ah Touch Pro Drill Driver any good for $49?

    • +1

They were never this cheap, even the last ones that Masters had so you are getting a good deal in that respect. The touch controls are a bit different relying on two pressure sensitive buttons for forward and reverse. The 4ah battery should give you good runtime and is a great inclusion for the price but it means that for a 12v drill and driver they aren't especially small. The other interesting feature of the drill is that outside of the Milwaukee Fuel hammer drill it is the only 12v drill I know of with a 1/2" chuck (3/8" is standard), however a lot of drill bits over 10mm (3/8") have reduced shanks anyway so perhaps not such a big feature.

    • I remember them selling these at masters, can't remember the actual price but it was a lot more than $49, with free shipping I think it would be hard to find a better deal than this, the only caveat is that I wonder if these are old masters stock and if so not sure if sitting idle for a couple of years effects the battery.

    • if I needed a cordless drill then I'd be grabbing that.

      • These 909 touch drills always intrigued me but for a 12v drill I'd go for the Workzone 12v hammer drill kit with two batteries that Aldi sells for $49 periodically. However, this is available right now and the Aldi drill isn't.

  • The blower is sold out.

  • Free shipping on what's left now guys!
    Drill Driver and Hedge Trimmer

  • A drill newbie here. Is the drill driver good to make occasional holes in walls when required? Are drill bits compatible from bunnings with this drill?
