  • It has no rotational speed so it is going nowhere fast. This one travels at 510 RPM: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/384541

Some AS-SSD stats for those interested:

    AS-SSD MB/s

    AS-SSD IOPS

Have been using it for about 3-4 weeks as my system drive but moved the system to a Netac 3D TLC when it arrived a day or so ago, (~30-40% faster read/write on the same interface). Now use the Ramsta for games and general data.

The Ramsta has been working faultless during that time.

    • life must be good ….some people are still hunting for cheap 120 gb ssd as their boot c: drive and upgrade from spindle and you are looking at moving to a faster ssd …… we are looking at 2 tb next as upgrade ssd as we move off 750 gb and 1 tb ssd …..can’t belive people would still be booting off spindles ……at these sorts of prices ….

      • You should see my gaming rig. OS drive is PCIe NVME SSD and most games split across 3 of these super cheap SSDs. Not a single spindle drive at all.
