  • Would a Pixel 2 or a P20 Pro would take better pictures than this camera?

    • A Pixel 2 will take better pictures compared to most point-and-click camera ;)

  • Thanks BA for posting this; but it isn't a good camera re image or video.

I have one and don't regret buying it. It's a good little camera. Wish this deal was around when i got mine. Think i paid nearly $200 for mine.
    Great buy.

i was bored enough to have gone googling the coolpix a300, coz i could not justify the benefit spending $100 for an extra thing in the pocket, while the mobile phone can do 99% of those things, and plus some more.

using a 1/2.3 tiny ccd sensor means extreme poor iso performance and weak video taking (720P). photo quality from this point and shot can only be used for fb posts. and then think about the hassle getting this pic posted to fb, good luck.

Perhaps the only pro against mobile phone camera is 8X optical zoom with optical stabilizer.

my personal conclusion: not worth the money.

    • The 8x zoom comes at the cost of poor light transmission. It's mostly an outdoor sunny days camera - very slow lens in low light.
