Is this only ingredients or actual cooked meals?

    • +4

Full meals, most are pretty tasty and decent ingredients.

    • +1

Actual cooked meals. Just microwave and presto

      • -5

really? I thought they are hot meals??

        • +15

That depends on how long you microwaved them for…

    • +1

      Packed cooked food

      • +5

so i have to unpack the damn thing to cook it ?

        • +3

You'll just heat it up. Big deal?

        • +2

@baldur: Got a feeling you might've missed the sarcasm. :)

      • So you actually have to eat it. I spend way too much of my time eating.

Anyway around $5 a meal is a decent price (plus $5 delivery)

  • +1

    Thanks OP.. Ordered!

  • thanks mate, ordered more… BUT the menu is getting a bit long in the tooth, has anyone seen any emails on when we can expect to see a winter menu or at least new additions?

    • +8

Vegetarian range is really limited as well. Finding it hard to make a repeat order as I prefer more variety.

      • -1

Then eat meat, you dirty vego. :P

  • Cooked and tasty..

  • Is it free delivery?

    • Yep

    • $20 delivery for me :\

  • +9

Ordered again - would never pay full price for this stuff but this deal makes it a decent price.

  • +4

Keep an eye out for the salt content for some of the meals. A few of them are astronomical. There are plenty of low salt low carb options. Just keep your wits about it when choosing - I will add that most of the meals are DELICIOUS!!!

    • Any meal recommendations?

      • +7

        Slow cooked lamb shanks
        Mac Daddy
        Chicken hot pot
        Clean roast pork and veg

The one I didn't like was the teriyaki chicken and tokyo potatoes

Personally I think the meal sizes are adequate. I'm trying to keep my meals to healthy sizes and these are perfect to take to work and smash for lunch. I could easily eat 2 (or three) but with one I'm not too hungry come dinner time - however i am ready to eat.

        • Got mine today. Mac Daddy is a winner for sure.

The portion sizes are reasonable. They are filling and the size you'd expect, though I could definitely wolf down another.

      • Yeah, buy a pressure cooker and an air fryer.

    • +1

      Delicious because of the salt

  • Gave it a shot. Don't know if I would pay RRP, but this price is equivalent to a frozen meal from the supermarket and is hopefully quite a bit better.

  • -8

How many times can u use the code?

    • +15

literally says Single Use Per Account in the title.

  • +1

Giving it a whirl. Thanks OP.

  • +1

    Great deal thanks

    • Or 2.5 for someone trying to bulk.

    • Good meals and some are quite tasty. I usually eat 2 youfoodz meals a day however, I supplement mine with 2 protein shakes in between 1000h and 1600h and that way I get the 2500 calories I need for the day.

  • +1

Awesome thanks OP! Good saving at this price!

  • +1

Ordered 7 different menu last time but they all tasted pretty similar lol. Ordered again anyway!

  • +3

These are just like a slightly-better-than-average frozen dinner from coles or woolies. Maybe you get lucky and have one that is tasty, but the portion size reminds you it's a frozen meal.

I had better luck with marley spoon and cooking up a big bunch and freezing my own meals.

    • How does it compare to lite n easy?

      • Way better quality, bit smaller serves

        • +1

Really? Smaller? Haven't had lite'n'easy in years but they were the equivalent of a kids snack in terms of portion size!

  • Hooray! I'm trying the tropical pancakes this time!

  • Great deal :) thank you for sharing

  • +5

They are very small meals. You need to eat 2 to get a decent fill.

    • +1

I usually eat quite a lot and find them to be reasonably satisfying. I've actually lost a few kgs since I've been having them

    • Haha it meant to be portion control..great for people who wants to shred but if you are purely eating to get full then yes u will need 2

  • So 7 meals are delivered at once? I live alone and I need to finish them all by about 2days?

    • +1

      From the FAQs:
"Youfoodz meals have an average shelf life of 7-9 days in the fridge. We do recommend eating any meals with fish within the first 7 days."

Also most of the meals can be frozen and reheated successfully.

  • +2

Thanks, order placed. Plan is to cook some rice myself to pad each meal a bit.

  • +1

thanks for posting, i’ve been wanting to jump on one of these deals, but they are usually expired by the time i get to it. Looking forward to try it

  • +1

Love it, just placed an order.

  • +1

Going to give this a go. Thanks

  • +1

    Thanks Order placed.

  • Hope they don't cancel like last time

    • What the cancelled last time??? That’s crap!

  • +1

    THanks OP Ordered.

  • +1

Ordered, thanks. haven't missed any $40 deal since first time ate it.

  • +1

Thanks, h4lcyon. Price for 7 meals was $39.65

It's my first time trying, last time I looked there was a delivery fee in SA but delivery is now free.

    Cheers!

  • +1

    Thanks. Ordered, final price $39.65.

  • +2

    Shipping $20 kills the deal.

    • Are you regional? I'm getting free delivery in SE Melbourne.

      • I am in Perth metro.

        • +1

Also in Perth and get $20 shipping .

  • Are these batter tasting than the ones frozen from Coles and woolies like Mc Cain and birds eye?

    • I'm sure they would be. $40 worth giving it a go.

    • Taste way better.
      They freeze well too

      • -1

Great as I usually stock up on the Lean Cuisine and Coles frozen ones (for when I cbf cooking) which have started getting boring so for an extra ~60c decided to try these.

  • Big Kev’s code? After these he’ll be littler Kev

  • +2

At $39.65 for 7 meals delivered, that's $5.66 per meal.
    Pretty happy with that.
Youfoodz are onto a winter with all these ~$40/week promos, really drumming up business.

  • How do these get packaged and delivered? Do they stay cold all day if you're out?

    • In a Styrofoam box with a number of ice packs, they should stay cold all day if not left in direct sunlight.

  • Thanks ordered again

  • I must be doing something wrong 😂😂

    it keeps charging me

    $39.65

    • do you live in the desert? always been free for me

  • grabbed some, cheers. was looking at getting some frozen meals over the next few weeks. These aren't all that high calorie; 300-400 compared to my muscle chef of ~700 per meal. but for the price, worth a shot.

    • +2

      I usually,

      1) Add some rice
      2) Add some extra salad/vegies.

If you don't want to prepare veggies, grab the $3 450g bag of 'fresh and fast stir fry salad' (chopped raw vegies) from ALDI (assuming it looks OK at your local ALDI) and throw handful on top of each meal.

  • -3

Is it possible to order 2-3 meals at once?

    • Do you mean only 2-3 meals per order? Yes - but you have to pay delivery. The cost will be probably end-up the same as this deal with 7 meals, paying more for less is not very OzBargainer of you ;)

You can freeze the meals if you don't think you'll eat all 7 of them.

  • +1

Thanks OP at this price, i will try them out.

  • +2

Thanks for this! Just ordered. It's a little sad but I'm a bit excited about not having to cook dinner for a week.

(Referrer code does NOT stack btw)

  • +1

Going to give them a try too. Thx

  • +1

    Excellent! Thank you.

  • -2

They use to give $40 and $50 off to try them first time.. No deal for me.

  • How big is the box they come in? Looking to deliver to work and may not fit in the office fridge

    • +1

You wouldn't put the styrofoam box in the fridge though, you don't want to insulate the food from the cold fridge.

    • 60cm x 40cm x 20cm (height).

    • It'll be fine to leave it in the styrofoam box at work as it comes with 2 ice blocks to keep it cool. I've had mine sitting on the front porch for hours in Summer and the blocks are still frozen when I unpack.

  • is anyone having issues logging in or with forgot password link?

  • +1

Can also combine with half-price protein balls.

  • Is this a code for Ozbargain, or did you actually use OzBargain as your name? :)

    • Haha, I modified the name before posting!

  • +1

    Ordered. Thanks OP.

  • +2

Thanks a lot, placed an order for myself and a separate order for the wife

  • +1

Thanks OP, ordered for dinners whilst working late :)

  • Does the complete order button not work for anyone else, who selected paypal?
Been having a lot of html or blank pages with paypal - might be this weird f secure thing though…

  • there used to be section for "delivery instructions".

Can anyone find it any more?

    • After adding meals to your cart click the "Standard Checkout" option above "Place Order"

  • +1

Their delivery window on the website said 8am - 5:30pm, but my confirmation email says it could be anytime from 12 MIDNIGHT - 6pm.. Started a chat box to ask about it and got put in a queue of (1), sat there for 20 mins. No response.

    • I haven't had a good live chat experience with them either.

  • +1

$20 delivery to Perth kills it.
