[XB1/XB360] Skate 3 $7.48 @ Xbox Marketplace

170

This game is now backwards compatible (since Nov 2016) with the Xbox One. Can confirm because I just bought this from EB for $23, only to find now that it's on sale at the Xbox Marketplace for $7.48.

Game Description:
The award winning SKATE™ franchise is back and rolling into new territory as SKATE™ 3 heads to the brand new city of Port Carverton. Get ready to team up and throw down as you build your own customized dream team to shred the streets, parks, and plazas and change the face of the city. New tricks, improved off-board actions, and gnarly Hall of Meat carnage mixed with exciting new team-based game modes take SKATE 3 to a new level of skateboarding fun. The Games on Demand version supports English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. Download the manual for this game by going to https://help.ea.com/en/tag/manuals and selecting your title from the Product drop down menu.

Note EA just turned the servers back on for Skate 3 and it's likely that at 6AM tomorrow morning we're going to see either a remaster announced or Skate 4 during the EA E3 2018 press conference.

    • After looking at all the comments on the EA Instagram account, they certainly better announce Skate 4 or they might have an angry mob to deal with.

    • If they announce skate 4, and its console only, I'll buy a console just for the game. I've just kept my Ps3 purely for skate 3. But a Ps4 for skate 4 sounds like a match made in heaven ;)

      • Might want to tune in to the Sony press conference then (as it wasn't mentioned during the EA one..). Not saying Skate 4 is happening, but they could be waiting to announce it as an exclusive.

    • As promising as this is, I have heard rumours for years. I am hopeful, even more so for PC but still, no breath holding

  • It's no Skate 2, but still a good deal at that price.

  • Also a part of EA Access.

Slightly related. Burnout Revenge also on sale for $10.46 and is backwards compatible now, not amazing for a 13 year old game but you will never find a physical copy anywhere close to this price.
Also may come to EA Access in future if you want to wait

This game is amazing, doesn’t have an ending, you could have endless hours of fun without getting bored, I absolutely love it. I’ve put about over 1000+ hours into the game, unlocked every achievement and am still playing. For $7 this game is a must !
