Update : $2 price drop again :) now $393 & again $1 drop .. now $392
Price dropped again on Amazon
Combine with the Original $20 off New Users AMAZON20 Deal + further 10% Cashback with NAB credit card offer + 5% Cashback from cashrewards does not stack with amazon20 code

Math :
$395 Original Price
$375 ( $20 Off with AMAZON20 code - New users)
$337.5 ( $375 - $37.5 ( 10% Cashback with NAB CC))
$318.75 ( $337.5 - $18.75 ( 5% of $375 Cashback from Cashrewards))

So final amount as per calculation- $318.75

Mathnerd can verify the above math :)

Oh how i wish this worked with NAB Personal Debit cards… :(

  • +4

If anyone isn't with NAB, grab some 10% off catch cards in a few days, pm me and I'll give you an extra 10% off at checkout code, or you can get one yourself from Unidays.

Currently they're selling the Switch for $398 and about $10 shipping so it'll make it cost about $330.

Not as good as the previous 20% off catch cards stacked with 5% off egift stacked with the 10% off, but still a good price.

    • +1

Are you sure it stacks with uni code?

      • Yep, someone else used the uni code with the 20% off gift card and 5% off Wish Egift card for a Switch about a month ago, and I did an order 2 days ago by discounted gift card and used the 10% off unidays code.

        • It says here on the catch website that they only accept 5 gift cards. In that case I dont think there is a 100$ giftcard. I might be mistaken

        • @eraijah: I bought a Switch a month ago using 7 gift cards, it said the limit was 5 then too and apparently it has been saying that for a long time, but isn't enforced.

          Here's a link

It's brought up almost every time there's a deal on catch gift cards, even I asked about it before.

        • If I was able to get hold of the unidays code, does the 10% off code apply to the whole cart? Or just one item? E.g. if I wanted to get the switch ($393) and Mario Odyssey ($67), would the code bring that down to $414?

Then, using 8 gift cards purchased when 10% off, makes it $360 ($400 worth of gift cards) + $14 (balance from above) + $12ish (shipping) = $386 for a switch with Mario.

Does that add up and would it work? If so I may finally cave in and get me a switch!

          Thanks in advance.

        • @BradleyDS2: Awesome, I might wait till there is a 20% off gift card for catch before getting a switch then!

        • +1

@Capps: Sorry for the late response, I didn't get notified for some reason.

10% off is for the whole cart.

Yep, your math seems to check out. Catch is being really (profanity) with their Switch prices at the moment, a month ago they were 420, then they were 398, when you commented they were 393 and now they're 392. If they lower the price after you buy, live chat with customer support and ask if they can give you store credit for the price difference, I did that when they dropped it from 420. At first they said no because I bought the neon and they were out of stock on the neon when I was trying to get the price difference, but they came back in stock 2 hours later so I asked again and they did it within a couple of minutes.

Also, worth noting that if you want to buy any games, you can pricematch at EB Games then pay using gift cards bought from Woolworths with 5% off egift cards to get 5% off the cheapest competitor. Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere before, but I've done it without any issues.

    • Is it possible to claim GST on catch purchases?

      • No idea, never tried.

Mathnerd can verify the above math

He can also verify the nutritional values on the console

If anyone has none of the above. Get HN to match amazon listed price and couple that with the AMEX deal $50 off ($350). you'll be paying $345. They agreed to price match for me online.

I don’t have this deal in my Amex deals. I only have the low rate card so I’m assuming you don’t and this is what I get for being pov?

    • "WE'RE SORRY
Our system is not responding at this time, please try again later."
For the past 2 days. Guess I too am not eligible. :'(

Don't think cashrewards works with Amazon20

    • +2

I've used Cash Rewards with Amazon20 and it worked.

      • I ordered games (bogof) and Xbox One etc with Amazon20 code none of them tracked.

What was the lowest price ever? I remember 299$?

    • +1

yup.. expired a while back AMEX deal only at Harvey Norman - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/347482

    • +5

A bit less, but never listed as a deal. It would have been Catch at $398 with 20% off gift cards bought at woolworths with 5% off egift cards and a unidays 10% discount and buy a month of club catch for $6.50 instead of paying $10 shipping.

(((398.8).95)*.9)+6.50= $278.732 if my math is correct.

Sadly now club catch is a min 3 month subscription, so it's cheaper to pay the $10 shipping.

I did all of the above except the Unidays as I wasn't aware or a member at the time.

      • I got that email, replied to it with my invoice, no response.
        They are shit.

    • That explains why the code was erroring out.
Not an issue though, customer rep just gave me $20 credit without requiring me to enter any code.
