Just played this on Xbone free to play weekend.
Reached level 16, the first 10-15 levels were brutal.
I ran around didn't do much but collect rats etc and then when I got time to come back it was over :( good game though I'm new to Xbox gaming after the Amazon Minecraft deal, great console

Honestly, I liked Fallout 3 better
It's as good as ever, and on high spec PC with mods much better.
Whether you like the style of game is subjective.
It is more FPS than FO3 since the pause aiming system is weaker so you spend more time just action shooting. That upset a lot of people though most of them are still upset it's not a top down rpg anymore.
Still the same quest system as ever. Adds town building which is a lot better with mods.
My main negative for the Fallout series is how drab and grey the landscape is, it's a depressing nuclear wasteland so is supposed to be, but that means its not nice to look at like its Elder Scrolls sibling.
I like the great landscapes, swords and magic better.

I can wait until this reaches fallout 3 goty prices.
