Would it be needed to be activated under 30 days?
How easy is the Nokia 3 to unlock from Vodafone? Anyone done so in the past?
Alternatively, any similar deals on a Nokia for Telstra?
Really tempted by the Nokia 3.
NFC and smaller than the Redmi Note 5, and the Oreo update seems to have improve the performance quite a bit aka to a usable level.
please just don't. I had it for less than a month…crappy battery and other issues with the phone…..
A new Nokia 3 just got announced with nicer SoC.
I misread this deal the first time I saw it. Now that I'm looking at it again, it's a $40 Vodafone starter pack for $20 plus bonus $20 Netflix gift card? That's an excellent deal - effectively buy a Netflix $20 gift card and get a $40 Vodafone starter pack thrown in. Anyone had any troubles redeeming in store?
No trouble getting the Netflix plus starter pack for $20 all up… From the front counter though the lady had to walk over to the gift card aisle to pick a Netflix card, so probably best to grab that first and then go through express lane where they'll be able to access the starter packs. Great deal I reckon. I am just a little confused with Vodafone. I know optus can be hopeless with packs not working or expiring too soon (in my experience).. Voda packs never had expiry dates and technically could be used indefinitely, although some direct purchases of starter SIMS from voda I noticed specified "activate within 3 months of sale" etc. Still no expiry on pack though. So would these packs be "restricted expiry"…. or "non-expiring"? Asking for a friend lol
Some special deals may have an expiry but VF Sims don't expire, I'm still activating 2012 Sims for porting
"activate within 3 months of sale"
This would be specific to certain deals
Yep, same here…. Have some very old ones that seem to still activate, haven't really had a problem, wonder whether they will somehow tighten up going forward though
@nocure: ha, fantastic, much the same as mine a while back, used all the ww ones now though. Aaaaaah…the days of periodic $1 (or $5) starter sim packs, a distant memory…
Yeah I know the older SIMs don't expire, but some people say that the newer Vodafone SIMs with pokers expire after a year or something.
Yep!
Will reply to my own comment as just noticed on the catalogue page "must be activated within 12 months of purchase to avoid expiry"
"avoid" sounds a bit vague though…
All Vodafone prepaid sims issued after March 6th 2018 have a 12m expiry for activation (unless otherwise stated)
No more indefinite starter packs anymore.
anyone would like to sell this netflix giftcard to me for $10. PM me :)
I will buy all you have.
Grabbed it today, it helped to have the catalogue on hand. The Woolies staff couldn't believe how cheap it was!
Guessing no but can anyone confirm if its possible to use the voucher from the starter pack to recharge an existing 365 day plan?
Cheers
dont think but can always try customer care team
Generally doesn't work like this - 2 separate things. What a lot of us do is port our number to someone else for a month, then port back in as starter packs arnt for existing accounts.
How many should I buy? Could see myself on voda every second month for the next year at this price.
Not in the ACT catalogue or stores? Is this regional?
Neither in NSW for both weeks & catalogues. Nor in OP's state of QLD even, going by online.
Has it been removed early (vodafone) ?
Will someone show how it came out on your receipt pls, $20 NF+ with $40 VF kit especially.
Still hoping the deal would be automatic with charge for netflix nought/$20 combo total.
Fine print indicates that the promotion runs till 26/6 in store only
Saw a Vodafone poster on the countertop. Also confirmed with Voda rep. Town hall woolies. Anyone interested in buying my Netflix $20 off me for $10?
Good deal. Got the 50% off (2) Voda Sims 100% off 2 $20 Netflix; $80 off $120 in staff assisted self-service transn. Terminal froze for 2 mins while processing all these activations but went through fine (limit 1 not enforce). Trick was scanning SIM in first, before each Netflix. Which gives the right total. Payment by woolies egift card wasn't available for selection appropriately.
I have a dual sim phone … guess who will have a cheaper data pack and 20 bucks netflix credit!?
