I would not go out of my way to spend extra to get this but if your spend is close to this anyway getting a choice of $50 or 10k points is a no brainier. I opted for the points as you can still use them as the same $50 when shopping or send them across to velocity.

Mine is $80 a week for the same. We were doing this every time it came up. Haven’t done it for ages because the spend was up to $170 a week and well stuff that. Guess it’s based on how often you use the offer or how many flybuys you have saved up
I think it's based on your overall usage and $ spend rather than how many points you have saved up.
I have been getting this offer for maybe 2 years. Always spend $50 for 4 weeks for 10k points. I make sure I only spend $50 or maybe up to $52. If I have more items I use a different Flybuys account. I figure it as a 25% discount ?

I've been targeted. Its helpful to note that I did do a small shop at coles 2 weeks ago, and I've only just joined flybuys (maybe this is a honeymoon deal to get me shopping with them?)
