Own this one, can and will definitely recommend it!

  • Been using one of these for daily meetings for several years, very happy with it.

  • can use this to replace dafang/xiaofang ?

anything site to stream for live view ?

    • you'll need it connected to a pc to do the job

    • i used it hooked to a nas as baby monitor - now its back to regular webcam use which it does very well (better than some old integrated webcam)

  • Can it be used with Raspberry pi 3 Model B?

Linux recognizes it, but your preferred flavour of Linux may not. I use a Logitech C270 webcam under Puppy Linux, but not on an RPi.

If you have the mplayer utility installed, you can check the webcam with the command
      mplayer tv:// -tv device=/dev/video0

If your computing device has an in-built webcam, e.g. a laptop, then the above command will show the output of the inbuilt webcam. If that happens, change "video0" to "video1" in the above command, that will show the output of your second video camera, which is the Logitech.

The Linux utility "luvcview" is useful for capturing still images to disk. Any webcam with a true resolution two megapixels or higher makes a very effective scanner, as long as what you are "scanning" is well-lit. Works much faster than a flatbed-type scanner.

You do not enjoy 720p or razor-sharp video calls. Your callers do. You are buying this for their benefits.

You do enjoy the benefit, if you gift the camera to the person you want to video call.

  • OP, the specs listed above (copied from EbGames) are somewhat incomplete.

Here's the official support page with specifications, for example it can capture still images at 2MP true resolution:

  • Can it be connected to tv box for video calling?
(Of course when running full android, not Android tv)
