Jeenee Mobile - 100GB 4G Data SIM - $65 Per Month, No Contracts, $10 Setup Fee

140

Just saw this pop up on the Jeenee website and didn't see any mention of it here yet. 100GB Data, per kb billing, standard Optus 4G, no contracts. Excess fees are a bit high though, $20 per GB, so keep that in mind, and have quotas setup on your devices. Seems a fair bit better value than the Optus 4G 100GB Data SIM which is now $80 a month. Seems to be a permanent deal. Enjoy.

All Data SIM plans are month to month, and must be paid in advance by direct debit only. After you've used your monthly data allowance, each megabyte (MB) of excess data costs $0.02/MB. Unused data does not rollover to the next month.

The Billing Date for $65 Data SIMs will be set as the 1st day of the month and will run until the end of the calendar month. Usage for the first and last month will be pro rated to the first day of the month.

It is important that you activate your service when you receive your package.

  • $10/Mo discount on Optus if you have a mobile plan with them, so $70/Mo still then.

      Still more expensive than this…

    very tempting!

I just cancelled my vodafone 90GB for $60 deal as it was terrible speeds when not sticking the dongle out the window.

Unless its Telstra its going to be shite :( Ive bounced all providers, anything backed by OPTUS fails.

Optus performs better in my area… it's not that simple for all people.

  • wonder if it throttles when hotspotting?

    • +1

Unlikely. Unlike the old days, most phones (if its in a phone) simply create a network bridge.

There's no way for the sim\provider to know its not the phone using the data.

  • hi , when you mean standard Optus 4G does that mean it uses the same speeds as the Optus 4G network ? Price is great for the Gbs their offering

    • It's the same network, so yes. I've pulled 100mbit on my Jeenee mobile connection in the past.

    • Confirmed with my Jeenee also.

  • I am with their $74 plan - it seems i cant change the plan to this ….. i have to buy a new sim :(

    • Or port out and port back?

I've used Jeenee for over a year.
They've improved a lot in customer service from when they started but still very long wait times for support and they are closed on weekends. I've gotten extremely unhelpful staff when calling support.

Great value though and I'd probably still recommend them because of the MONTH to MONTH sim options.
