Singapore Airlines' Spontaneous Escapes promotion is on again with 30% off selected Economy and Business SQ operated reward flights.
This time around we see flights from Syd/Can/Bris to Asia, the subcontinent and Dubai, along with long-haul flights to Dusseldorf. Krisflyer clearly outlines the eligible flights (including specific flight numbers) and any 'black-out' dates, where discounted seats are unavailable.
There's decent savings to be had if your plans suit, even if transferring your Velocity points to Krisflyer Miles. But remember, these lack the great change/cancel flexibility that you usually get with a reward booking (so be careful about how you value your redemption).
Note, the discount applies to eligible flights at the final payment screen (not the initial reward flight selection).
