  • I'm a big Onkyo fan, but Onkyo 686 vs Denon X3400 ~620euros.

    Hmmmmmm…

  • Dont onkyo have a non removable power cable ??

    • Doesn't matter, Europe has the same power frequency as AU unlike the US just a different plug.
Bought a different Onkyo model a few years back and just needs a travel adapter on the plus.

    • Going by the photos it doesn't have a removable power cable. As been said above just use an appropriate travel adapter. You could get a quality one at say for example at Jaycar Electronics. Don't bother with one of those cheap crap one's off eBay i wouldn't risk it on an expensive $940 item such as this. The cheap one's might fall out of the power point or some thing like fall apart.

      Here's one for $9.95. https://www.jaycar.com.au/usa-and-europe-inbound-travel-adap…

Does a reasonable option for under $400 exist, it might be a bargain but $1000 is beyond my budget. Thank you.

$1000 is the reasonable option. $2000 is where it gets a little silly.

2k is not so bad. 20k mono blocks for each channel is where it gets a bit crazy.

  • Who does the warranty?

    • Probably Amazon Germany.

Id personally wait for JB to have an audio avalanche sale which is normally 30% off amps etc wouldnt risk it for $300 savings
