  • "…and one lid to rule them all"

  • What makes it food grade?

    • +3

The common standard is anything that doesn't kill you in the near future is food grade.

      • Tobacco?

        • You don't really eat tobacco (you can chew it though), and it won't kill you in the near future.

        • @flaminglemon: I don't eat food wraps either :)

  • +1

Bought from zapal not long ago and absolutely regretted it. Won't stick at all.

    • Were they the same as these ones. Wife brought other ones from matchbox like $39.These would be good if useable?

    • Yeah I stupidly bought two sets out of excitement, first try it sprung back on me. Lucky I was reading on an empty bowl if not it would have made a huge mess 🤨

    • I did the same but those are square. Set of 4 but none of them wouldn't stick for me either. However, I did manage to get it to partially stick by super stretching it but wasn't able to go fully on a round bowl. Haven't used it since. Maybe this one is better for round bowls but I'm not keen to waste more time and money.

    • i think i got the same ones. the only way i got them to work, like Popo below, was to really stretch it over a well defined edge/corner. but this has only been for non-circular containers/objects.

lately I've just been using it to wrap partly used carrots (one at a time) for storage in the fridge. although this has now discoloured it slightly…

  • Is this BPA free?

    • Nah. I think you have to pay for them. Ba dum tiiissh…

Silicone doesn't have BPA. Some plastics do.
