    • Yes, I could get this with my spare prepaid $2 telstra sim which I never top up.

    • I had it yesterday, but nothing today.
I was going to subscribe at home last night, but forgot.

  • +1

If anyone doesn't want to use their offer I'm happy to offer a small contribution to their eneloops fund should they want to swing their offer my way.

  • +5

On Telstra nbn. Been with them for internet for 4 years.
    No offers.
    Assholes.

    • Same here. Nothing on mine.

  • I had a free 12 month Foxtel Now (2 packs) as part of my 24 month contract (Oct 2017)

I go into My Offers today and there's TWO more free 12 months, another 2 pack and a 3 pack offer. Checked to see if both could be registered and yes they can :)

    • Damn if you don't need any of them, happy to volunteer to take one for a beer :D

  • +2

YAY… now I can watch the new wentworth when it starts.

  • +3

Thanks OP, on Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband Data Pass, got:

    • 12 Months of Foxtel Now - Choose from 3 Starter Packs
    • 12 Months of Foxtel Now - Choose from 2 Starter Packs
    • BigPond 1 HD Rental Movie
    • 3 months Apple Music
  • I’m on Telstra prepaid and this worked, thanks heaps OP :)

  • +1

Shame I didn't get the 24 month offer. 12 months won't get me through 'til Game of Thrones Season 8, LOL. At least there's Season 2 Westworld :-)

Then again there'll probably be another deal next year!

  • How can we watch Foxtel now on Android tv?

  • According to Telstra following plans are eligible:

Go Mobile Data Plus ($45 and above - 12 or 24 month contract)
Go Mobile Plus BYO ($99 and above - 12 month contract)
Go Mobile Plus Handset and Swap ($99 and above - 24 month contract)

  • Is it worth getting a cheap telstra prepaid to get the offer?

    • +1

I want to know this too. I've never had a Telstra account of any form. I've never used them.

But if I can get this offer guaranteed, then I'll sign up. I'm looking for a new mobile provider anyway.

      • I've found having a Telstra account to be VERY beneficial over the last couple of years. And all this from just having nothing more than a prepaid (e.g. $10 for $30 SIM deal). Even though all my credit is expired I'm still eligible for most offers… used to get Telstra movie discounts even, but they seem to have fixed that now.

Above posts seem to indicate you can even just get a $2 SIM and still get this, LOL.

        • Alas, by the time I bought a SIM, activated it, and ported my number, the deal was gone.

Oh well, I'm ready for next time.

But the movie tickets "deal" is a bit crazy. "Discount" $12.50 movie tickets at my local cinema, when the regular price is $10? I don't think I'll be taking that discount.

  • Just clicked through to see what offers I have available on my account and it appears I have multiple available!

    5 x 12 Months of Foxtel Now - 3 starter packs for 12 months - save up to $480
    5 x 12 Months of Foxtel Now - 2 starter packs for 12 months - save up to $300

I thought it might just be per billing account, but I've just redeemed one and still have 9 left. Would have liked to have one of the 24-month offers though.

  • Sign up for a two week free trial all channels first, then get one of these offers on the 29th May.

  • +2

finally, sports for $29 a month… all I've ever wanted.

    • -4

To access the Sport Pack, you need to add a starter pack. We suggest the Pop Pack at $15/month which means your minimum cost will be $44/month.

      • +3

yes but you add the starter packs through this deal on a new account which is free for 12months, then add sport. $29.

    • How? I thought you can only get starter packs, not the premium content.

      • You only get starter packs with this offer yes, but you need to subscribe to a starter pack first to be able to add Sports whether you use this deal or not, so this deal eliminates the cost of doing that.

  • Will it work from belong mobile sim ?

    • I just got signed upto the 12 months plan thanks to this. Streams perfectly using my belong sim.

  • I've already used the offer but another one showed up!

    • Yeah they were 12 month offers, now they are 24 month.

So anyone who had the 12m, gets another 12m.

      • Neat.
Can I redeem it and extend my current one? any idea?

        • Can't stack the offers. There is an expiry date but hopefully it continues beyond that so we can add the next 12 months.

  • Nothing for me :(

  • What's the difference between Pop & Drama - both look very similar?

  • Postpaid customer for at least 5 years and zilch. Bollocks.

  • Can I get cnn on this?

  • +2

    Cheers OP, got:

12 months with 3 starter packs and another one 12 months with 2 starter packs.

Does that mean I can stack these and get 2 years free, and after 12 months one of the starter packs knocks off?
Edit: No, can't sign up for both straight away - it only prompts you if you want to change your offer. Doesn't seem to stack to 24 months

    • Try logging out of foxtel site before you try stack the 2nd offer.

      • +1

Telstra MOBILE offer expires on 17/05/2019

Doesn't seem to affect expiry but can add two extra channels.

    • Go click on the second offer and it will give you the 5 packs for 12 months, that is what I did.

      • That's why I did, literally the comment right above yours.

I knew I could do that, I was wondering if I could stack it to be 24 months though. Presumably I can't so I settled for the 5 packs for 12 months.

  • Don't add the sport package to check to see if the discount overrides it.

  • I have Telstra cable bundle for 3 years…. no luck offer not showing :(

    • Need to have a Telstra Mobile Service.

  • +1

    Got it, thanks OP.

Had to create a new email as my other were deactivated and it wouldn't let me activate without paying.

  • Thoughts on what will happen if I port my number off Telstra?

  • Not in my offers 😔

  • I get no offers - but when I log in to the app on the phone I see all of them.

  • This is fantastic, thanks OP. Pretty smart from Foxtel IMO, I'm already considering adding that Sport Package…

  • Redeemed 1 x 12 month, 3 starter packs
    Still have FOUR OFFERS remaining
    1 x 12m, 3 starter packs
    2 x 12m, 2 starter packs
    1 x 24m, 1 starter pack

I seem to get one extra offer for each extra SIM card on my post-paid mobile plan ($5 per month)

Can't seem to stack the 24 month to my existing Foxtel account. Not sure what / if anything I can do with these remaining offers.

    THANKS OP!!!

    • +1

You could have another account to get the packs that you couldn’t get in the first account?

      • Smart man with two accounts you'll have all channels

        • Except for Movies and Sports ;)

        • +1

All the rubbish ones. Shame movies isn’t included. Still looks like back row of video shop. Like Amazon.

    • -2

Any chance I can have one of those if it's transferable

  • +1

Thanks OP, worked on my $2 sim card!

  • I have the offer I click the link, it asks me to login so I do but then the offer disappears.

  • +1

    12 months, Thanks OP!

  • +1

Can anyone explain about when I need to cancel the subscription to avoid being charged? If I cancel membership will cease immediately, after 1 month, or after the free subscription period?

    • I'm wondering the same thing

    • +1

Cancel it any day in the last billing cycle (between 17/04/19 and 16/05/19) and they'll schedule the account to be deactivated when that billing cycle finishes. If you want to be safe just set a reminder for yourself to cancel on 16/05/19 in your calendar or something.

Had it in the past and that's how it worked.

  • I have got the 12 months offer. But when I add 3 packs to the cart, I get a message for re-activating my account, and in the cart it shows $35/month.
Am I doing something wrong? or will it apply the offer towards the end?

    • Should show
      Cart total $0 a month.
      discount -$35 a month

    • +3

Had the same issue. Make a new account.

  • +2

Gonna watch all these Foxtel Now shows on my new Benq short throw projector!

  • Sorry if it's a noob question, but can I watch foxtel on XBOX One S?

    • There is no app on Xbox for Foxtel Now unfortunately. The old Foxtel app used to work for me but is ‘unsupported and no longer gets updates. It was always a bit sh1t tho. So now I cast (to chrome cast ) or mirror (apple tv).
Screen mirroring may work for you through iOS. My xbone comes up as an option but I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe an android alternative exists? 👹
Legion is the best show on Foxtel atm imao . Season 2 just started 💃

    • Yes, but only with the old app. It has not been updated to foxtel now - Beaten by a few seconds. But the old app works for me…

  • +4

I got the 3 pack and 2 pack offers for 12 months (on telstra prepaid). Signed out between redeeming and I now have all 5 packs for 12 months ($60 discount).

    • +1

Legend, just did the same and now have 12 months with all 5 packs

    • This for the win :-)

Though it does mean that I now have an obsolete IQ2 box, and a set of powerline adapters cluttering up my garage…

  • Thanks OP. Saves me from finding alternate methods of watch Game of Thrones.

  • Have an old Friends and Family plan and got the 1x 12months 3 starter packs and 1x 12 months 2 starter packs.
But I just activated a new prepaid SIM on Tuesday and it has the same offers available.

  • wow got it!

  • Just bought a $2 prepaid sim and activated it against an old Telstra account I haven't used in years - got the 2 and 3 starter pack options, along with passes for AFL, NRL, and netball :)

    Cheers OP!

  • Thanks OP! Already have foxtel but do not have the drama package so will be using this purely for Westworld and Game of Thrones! :)

  • Anyone else getting the "Oops, we're having a technical issue" error message when they try to click through to the Foxtel site for the offer?

  • Ok, so I attempted to stack my two offers, but it didn’t work and now it’s charging me $10 for an extra pack (Docos). I removed the pack, but now it’s scheduled for removal and won’t be removed until 16 June 2018 and I think it’s still going to charge me $10. I now can’t add Docos through the Telstra offer because it’s greyed out as scheduled for removal. Does this seem right? I think it’s stuffed up…

    • Did you log out of your Foxtel account before trying to redeem the second offer? That's how I got the second one to work for me.

Your best bet is calling them or contacting them via Twitter and seeing if they can forcibly remove it now, they might be kind enough to do it seeing as you've only just accidentally paid for it. Don't be surprised if you don't get a refund until the end of this billing cycle though.

      • Thanks! I’ll give contacting them a shot. I didn’t log out, which I think was my issue.

  • +1

Is it correct to assume if my primary reason to subscribe is the Sports package, I only pay the $29 per/month; and the other 3 packs are free for the time period (i.e. 12 months)?

I don't need a base pack which we did in the past (well at least it doesn't cost me)?

  • I already have the 3 pack activated and still have 2 X 2 packs and 1 X 3 pack still to activate.
Only thing is I don't remember how they charge you after 12 months if you forget to cancel?

    • On your Telstra bill.

      • Cheers, just applied the second pack and it shows the old and new expiry dates. Now I will set a reminder to cancel before then.

  • What do you mean, "they stack up"? For example I just checked my offers and I have x4 Offers;
    1) Telstra Now 12 months: 3 starter packs
    2) Telstra Now 12 months: 3 starter packs
    3) Telstra Now 12 months: 2 starter packs
    4) Telstra Now 12 months: 2 starter packs

Can I redeem all of them? And if so, what does that mean??

    • +2

      Click on the first offer
This will take you to foxtel now
add three starter packs (which should cost you nothing)
create an account and you're set.
      logout of foxtel now.

Go back to your telstra offers
Select the second offer (or the one that has 2 starter packs)
This will take you to foxtel now
      sign into your account
      select the remaining two channels
it should add them at now charge

You should now have all five channels at no cost, all expire on the same day next year.

      • I am an existing Foxtel customer through Telstra… Can I use those (Foxtel) login details for Foxtel Now?

Or do I need to sign up a seperate login to Foxtel Now?

        Thanks

        • I think you might be able to, but I'm not sure.
If in doubt just create a new login.

      • tried this but when i go back to my telstra offer, the other offers disappear :(

        • Same thing happened to me. I had a 2 and 3 starter pack offer for 12 months. lucky I chose the 3 starter pack first..

  • -6

I wouldn't take this even for free. Screw murdock.

  • +2

I had it for a moment when I checked, but then logged out, and when I logged back in again, they were missing. Too many people taking up this offer?

  • +3

My offers were there an hour ago, just got home to redeem them and now they seem to be gone…
Maybe Telstra caught onto this?? :-(

    • +2

Mines gone to :(, I was going to apply it when I got home

      • +1

Yep, confirmed all my offers have disappeared too! They were there about 10 minutes ago :-(

    • +1

Yep my ones are gone too.
      They were there earlier.

    • hm same happened… had 2x 12 month offers now gone… anyone tried maybe live chat and see if they can add it?

      • +2

To answer myself… no luck after 30 mins with live chat… just keep saying my $59 BYO Pixel 2 plan is not eligible for free 12 months Foxtel… and it's not there as far as they can see.
