Hopefully amazon offer the NES because pre ordering from eb fails at the final stage of the checkout process, eb and jb need to start matching amazons free postage also.

general aesthetic, different controller, lack of modification required… seem like three solid reasons for the target audience this kind of gear is targeted at.

I have a snes mini in my house and I have to say that these things are really overpriced for what they are.
Of course it is. But with its modification potential and later resell value, it pays for itself. It's an official product.
