This is probably the best racing simulator I've played especially if you're into drifting. Assetto corsa has hundreds of custom car and track mods too that just add to the fun.
But do be warned if you don't have a half decent wheel/peddle race setup you're gonna have a bad time! I'd recommend looking on gum tree for old Logitech G27's as they're good entry-level setups.
So if Logitech it's entry level. What's mid and to range wheels?
I say the G27 is good entry level because it comes with a full Sifter and clutch setup, if you're looking at spending a little more but still want an easy setup the Logitech G920 is the newer revised version that's only major change is some smother components but there is also many cheap mods you can do to a G27 wheel to improve it beyond the g920.
For Mid level i would probably say the thrust master wheel range is what you're looking at but haven't researched into them too much to be able to recommend anything.
Then end game level you'll want to start looking at Fanatec wheels they sell all the bits you need individual to get the perfect setup
With any of these setups but mostly for the higher end ones you would also need to start looking into stand setups from places like Wheel Stand Pro
