    Saw this phone while overseas, and compared camera result side by side with S9+

    Winner hands down. Much less artifacts and clearer zoom. Colour did not look washed out on the screen, but didn't see the actual photos on a computer so it's really what the OLED screens told me.

      There are heaps of bloggers yourtubed this comparison. It is not a clear cut answer as you think. The third lens and the night mode are sure the trump card for P20 pro. S9+ has better picture in certain situation and its trump card is the better Slo-Mo and stabilization in 4K Video.

      Since I am on the topic, The Pixel 2 may look falling behind these two but being Google Native means it will be updated regularly and first to get all the new function Google is rolling out this year.

      So it depends what is most important for you but everyone seems to agree these phone are very close and it not that easy to say which is a clear winner.

    Best camera so far. Problem is you can't turn off the beauty mode for the front cam!

    So this phone on the whirlpool post is wrong - the price quickly went back up to normal, so if that was the only source it'd have to be a neg. The current link on ebay too shows it as out of stock to so… not sure what to think?

    But yeah this is an amazing phone and I'm kind of hoping there is a last minute discount at JB so I can have a localish warranty this time around instead of hassling huawei themselves.

      Credit on whirlpool - for showing Mobiciti are selling the phone and the launch date details. The launch details were hard to find. The $994 Ebay price is a great deal for a launch phone

      It was not out of stock an hour or two ago. I will change the thread to out of stock
