They are actually in the globe aisle but below the display pendant lights not amongst their other globe folk. Which is kind of odd. They had batten style too for 50c but I didn’t see any stock left.

I find them to be. Light is spread more in a 360° direction than 180°.
Alas I could not find them at Seaford Bunnings (SA).
