Sennheiser HD 4.50 BT/NC Headphones - $197 Delivered (HK) from TechWarehouse @ Catch

50

From my research, these headphones are a great second option to the Bose QC35s. Obviously not as good, but for the price difference, they are great. The microphone isn't the best on it if you are buying them for that purpose. However, otherwise they are a great pair of BT NC headphones. Also better warranty than Bose QC35s. Imported from TechWarehouse in Asia.

Not sure whether to go for these or wait for the Sony WH1000XM2s to go on a crazy special again.

    • Good find, yeah it's a tough decisions. I ended up going for these as a friend has them and recommended them.

    • I would go Bose or Sony if you wear them ALOT, and lastly Sennheiser.

These sennheiser's are not comfortable. If you read through user reviews and reddit, you will see many find these very uncomfortable in longer listening periods. We have the on.ear sony's at work and they are incredible.

Hey guys just helping out with anyone interested. I got the 4.40BT which are the same but without noise cancelling. Firstly these aren't anywhere near as comfortable as Bose or Sony headphones. Also the buttons are terrible, there is no easy way to know if it is on or off. To turn it on you have to hold the power button for 4 seconds (long seconds), to turn it off you have to hold it for 3 seconds.

The top headband has little padding, so will dig into your head over time which causes me headaches after 3-4 hours. The ear cushions are narrow and VERY thick so the headphones stick out ALOT from your head, and also touch year ears and apply pressure to them. If you have a smaller head, they cushions are so big that they will apply pressure to the top of your jaw also.

If I had a second chance, I would never have bought these. Waste of money IMO. If you just want cheap headphones and don't care about comfort and ease of use, then for sure the Sennys offer good value. Also I notice a big hiss from these headphones where I haven't ever noticed it before in Bose heaphones.

Also what does this mean? Imported, and has better warranty than local Bose?

Also better warranty than Bose QC35s. Imported from TechWarehouse in Asia.

Also more than happy to answer any questions anyone has in regards to comfort/fit/audio quality etc. Again I have the 4.40 which is missing the NC feature of 4.50

When I was at my local jb the qc35s only had a 3 month warranty, all catch tech comes with a one year warranty.

Bose has 2 year warranty. They have had that since my first Bose purchase 4 years ago. They cover mechanical or electrical failures. Obviously don't cover wear.

that is good price for BT45.

Got BT4.5 few months ago for $250 from JB. 2 year warranty. Try BT45 and Boss Soundlink II, BT45 is better. Also got QC35 from Previous good OZ deal.

BT45, Ear padding is no good, bit small, uncomfortable and gets very hot after a while. it Cant Compare to QC35, which is much comfortable.

sound quality. Depends on what music, QC35 is good for Rock and movies with every good mid range and heavy base. For Classical Music, BT45 is very good, better than QC35 in High pit.

MIC, can't tell big different between QC35 and BT45. BT45 seems not as good as QC35 in extreme noisy environment.

Noise Cancelling, both are good, try on Board, BT45 is better in my opinion, can't hear anything even without music on. disadvantage, can't use it for long time. if travel overseas, QC35 is my option. Domestic, BT45 will do the job.

They are not the same level of BTNC Headphone from Technical and price wise.

Should compare QC35 to PXC550. glad to hear some experience for PXC550
