  • For any prior purchasers - how are their pillows?

    • Not sure of the pillows but the mattress was too firm and very uncomfortable to sleep on.
To me, it was the worst mattress to own and had to return.

I got their pillow about 3 months ago. It's the best pillow i've owned, and i have tried many expensive pillows including latex and memory foam. If you need a lot of neck support, the ecosa one is the best i've found. It has a raised side and a lower side, plus comes with two height adjustable pads so you can literally adjust the height as you wish.

If you don't need neck support then you'd probably do fine with this or any other memory foam or latex pillow.

  • Returned Ecosa (too firm) and got Koala.

    • I've got a Koala.. its too firm.. haha going to return it soon…

Pretty expensive for a mattress in a box

  • Loving Ecosa, returned Koala as too soft and got this, very happy - I guess we're all different. Ecosa seems much better quality too, no dipping at the edge etc.

    • Yeh thinking of returning the Koala for the Ecosa. Too soft for my bad back

      • We just did the return last week, and Ecosa arrived same day, noticeably firmer, and you can adjust the Ecosa to be firmer still supposedly.

  • I note that there are no springs in the mattress. For those who have, or have tried, does the Ecosa sleep hot?

    • +1

I found it okay. Not really hot or cold. Just conformable

    • +1

I found it okay too. My body temp is usually quite warm but no issues with the mattress.

    • Can sleep hot for me. Stuck with it though as very comfortable - just turn on the air con.

  • Ecosa is firm, but give it a week and I found my sleep was much better. I didnt like it day 1 and 2 then on day 3. My body adjusted and best sleep.

  • +2

This isn't really much of a better deal than you would normally find for them.

  • 600 for a single wow

  • For those that found it too firm did you rotate the foam inserts? If you did was this an easy process and did it make much difference?

    • +3

I flips it to medium and found it more suited to me. The first night was quite hard. Then 2nd night it was better but not comfortable. 3rd night best sleep in like years. By the end of the week. My body adjusted felt good. Doesnt feel hot and felt comfortable. Hope it helps

Thanks, I've tried the Eva which i quite liked. Like you it took a couple of nights but then became better but not amazing. I figure with the trial periods i may as well try and find amazing?!
I then took a punt and bought a ZZZ Atelier black which was really cheap and to be honest felt very similar to the Eva at first but after just over a week my wife and i both didnt get as good a sleep on it and we both dont like it. The finishing and quality of the ZZZ comapred to the Eva was not as good but obviously the price accounts for that. I felt like i sunk into the ZZZ a bit more but almost to the point where it wasnt comfortable like i was on the springs.
I havent found either to be "too hot" even when we had a bit of warmer weather through April.

Next on my short list to try are Ecosa, Ergo flex, Simba, sleep & co S4, Macoda and lazy bed.

Its hard trying to pick because its so subjective and there are so so many bullshit reviews out there!
