Did your unit come with a car parking space? The parking underneath the building doesn't look nearly large enough for every unit to have a parking space.

Been there last month for the same promo price. it was quite enjoyable. For me, lounge is no difference from event cinema gold class

Went to watch Avengers there and had to cough up $7 for parking. You get 3 hours free parking at Coorparoo Square with cinema validation, which is fine for shorter movies but Avengers is looong. Got there 10:11am for a 10:30am session, noticed the movie doesn't finish until 1:19pm, asked one of the Dendy staff about this and he said they can't do anything beyond 3 hours, and that I'd pay $4 for an extra half hour… but it turned out to be $7. Guess where I didn't stay for lunch?
Thanks for warning us. Better to park in the street for long movies, but parking is very limited in the immediate area, so factor in a 5-10 minute walk to/from wherever you park.
Yup… or in my case I could've waited to enter carpark about 10 mins after scheduled start. My 10:30 screening had about 20 mins of ads/trailers. If you park in the designated Dendy area there's a lift straight to the cinema foyer.

Yep, two people have rightly complained about this to me over the last week when they got stung. It's ridiculous; they really need to provide included parking for people using their service. It seems counterproductive for them to dissuade people from going there or staying longer to spend more money but I suppose the gouging for parking is worth it to them.
At least Coorparoo isn't a Traffic Area. So yeah, better to park elsewhere and have a short walk.
Totally agree; they've lost me as a potential customer - I was going to try Special Rub but would've had to pay even more in parking so voted with my wheels/wallet.
