smart! if share first you might not be able to buy (ozbgained and sold out).

  • Product description has "Set Aluminium S2 Steel Repair Tool"

I would be concerned if these were made from Aluminium. Aluminium is very soft and the heads would get wrecked very quickly.

    • The handle and case is aluminium, the tips are S2. :)

      • Apologies, my mistake. I should have scrolled down :-)

After so many posts where the same set has gone for $19-23, I'd suggest waiting unless you need it ASAP.

  • So how's the quality of the bits? I'm sick of the el-cheapo bits I have that are made of soft Chinesium.

They should be genuine Wiha: https://www.wiha.com/en/press-reports/detail/wiha-proud-of-c…

Wiha's a well respected German brand IMO.

Edit: I should mention I bought these from BangGood about a month ago after I twisted my cheap Kinchrome T8 pulling apart an iMac. So far, these bits have been great.

bits are S2 steel, manufactured by WIHA - a top notch German brand

    • You get what you paid. Chinese products have the better (if not the best) quality per $ spent ratio. That’s why almost everything is made in China.

  • can any of the bits be used to shorten the watch band?

  • I have gone right off this type of screwdriver. They don't have the same feel as 1 piece screwdrivers and they are useless for lots of the recessed screws that i seem to come across. They do look pretty schmick though.
