      Sewing machines are excluded on the voucher. You might get away with using it on one in-store if you're lucky.

  • Catalogue hasn't arrived in Eastern suburbs WA (we normally receive). I spoke to the lady at Spotlight today who said that they also had not received catalogues! She said that they would provide coupon print outs at the door if it's required for this deal.

  • The cashback through Shopback takes you to the New Zealand Spotlight site. Is the Australian site not eligible for the Cashback? Hope that makes sense. Usually use cash rewards so will check there too.

    I was going to buy some fabric online a couple of days ago and put it in my basket. At the time it was .60c a metre (clearance), but I hesitated in case it was not what I really wanted. This morning I have now logged in again and my basket item (same one already there) is now showing at $1.00 per metre. Price went from $36 to $60 - an additional 40%. So yeah, I can put in the code and get it back down to the first price, but my point is that it's a scam really this "sale". Rant over.

  • I keep getting this error "Failed to apply promotion code to cart. Kindly fulfil the requirement and re-enter the code to redeem."

    I have a cart with $116 worth of roller blinds, have tried both codes and I am signed into my account. Any suggestions?

      Some of the blinds might be excluded from the sale, e.g they are an 'everyday bargain' or clearance. Usually you can tell if this is the case if the price ends in .00 instead of .99. Otherwise you can look on the item page and it will say 'everyday bargain' next to the standard delivery icon or it will have a clearance banner over the picture. Hope that helps!

  • I have added $103 worth of stuff to my basket and applied the code which seemed to work but i now have the message

    "Spend $100.00 to get a discount of $40 - Spend another $45.02 to qualify (VIP Only)"

    Any ideas why?

    • Are you signed in as a VIP? Did you buy anything that was 'buy 2 get the 3rd free' or anything else where the discount may be applied once you process your cart? Did you get anything that is excluded, e.g home electrical, sewing machines, everyday bargains, etc?

      • Yeah signed in as VIP, ordering a wooden easel, some watercolour pencils and charcoals. None of which are discounted already or anything.

      • It looks like it's the wooden easel that's not being included. Any idea why?

        • @Odriscoll: Yes it's an everyday bargain (icon next to standard delivery icon) which is excluded. You could try doing the same purchase in-store, our system doesn't distinguish these exclusions so if the team member doesn't notice then you can do it that way.

  • Get whiz. I didn't get my email or a catalogue and was told NO sorry we don't have a printout here.. So after saying I had a photo of the barcode they still wouldn't apply the discount. In a polite manner I said, well that's not fair for people that didn't get the catalogue. Finally she goes, just do it with the other customers voucher but we aren't suppose to!!

    • Have you opted-in to receive emails/mail? Are your details correct/up to date? These might be reasons why you didn't receive anything. Unfortunately, we don't receive print outs to give to everyone, Spotlight is trying to reward its members that do keep their subscriptions.

      • Yes 😊 I don't always get them but did get a $10 voucher ages ago via email.

        What are we suppose to do if it happens again?

          You can log on to the spotlight website and make sure your details are up to date. Also, the more you use/scan your VIP card, the more benefits/vouchers/coupons you will receive. If you only received one $10 voucher ages ago, then that sounds like you probably don't scan your VIP all that much and may have dropped off the mailing list. This sale comes around a few times a year so it be worth a little effort to check these things out.
          If all else fails, you can contact spotlight customer care and they should be able to get one out to you.
