  • Is this 12 months + 1 extra month and can anybody confirm if 3 years is still the most you stack?

Worth it for the Games With Gold alone.

  • This is most likely to be one of those dodgy banned keys from those third world countries.

Slightly cheaper at gamesdeal with promo code Allkeyshop it comes down to $44.05 here

    • think will hang out for a global deal that works in AU with no VPN….. they seem to pop up for the $54 mark now and then.

    • Thanks for this!

I couldn't use it on my account, apparently if you have an ongoing subscription paid in a different currency it's a no no. This is likely also true for the OPs deal.

But I added it to my daughters account without problem, as she had no current sub.

  • Has anyone experienced negative consequences (eg. Account banning) from using these out of region keys through VPN?

    • I can’t speak for the reputation of Electronic First as to whether or not they’re a verified reseller for Microsoft however people have run into complete account bans for “marketplace theft” buying from similar places like G2A etc due to the codes they purchase from the site having previously been purchased via stolen credit cards etc.

Not saying you’ll run into any trouble via the above deal, or even with G2A, just a bit of buyer beware.

      • I get lots of stuff from G2A, never an issue ….. and you can always pay them extra for purchase protection if you are worried, I don't and spend the extra on pizza instead.

        • The purchase protection will only cover you for a refund of the code if it turns out it was purchased by stolen means in the first place, won’t do anything about getting your Xbox Live account unbanned…but as mentioned it’s only been a handful of cases here and there that have resulted in Xbox Live account bans, not a huge concern if you buy games physically but for those that buy digitally the loss of your licenses can be a huge concern.

But as you pointed out the number of transactions without issues far outweigh those that have had XBL bans.

          And heck yes pizza!

  • honestly my current XBL subscription was a real waste of money since my xbox is now pretty much a dedicated fortnite machine.

    • But isn't a XBL subscription required for online multiplayer? Or can Fortnite be played without one?

        Yep, subscription required.

Then again, it's also available on PC, PS4 and newer iOs devices - none requiring a subscription to play online.

I had no idea the sub was still required. Thanks for that, I now feel better about my subscription.
