  • I think the offer has expired mate it says valid til 3/1/11 unless my eyes are playing up.. lol

    • It has got 3/01/11, but will still be able to get the deal coz i have fitted the same.
Still on their website and if you quote the offer they will do it.

      • ok thanks

  • Only in NSW?

  • Please update the heading, only in NSW

  • woot! just called them and made the booking! Great price! $159 installed and they come to you as well!!!

  • What's the quality like guys?

    • If the unit is the same as mine (a big if - the display looks exactly the same as mine, but that pic is too small to be sure) then the quality is fine - it's been on my car for a bit over a year and it definitely works!

One quirk I've noticed is that occasionally it will detect the kerbside or other really low objects when reverse parking - but nothing serious. It beeps pretty loudly when it detects things, and beeps continuously (as in, "beeeeeeeeeeep") when you're 0.4m or closer, which may annoy you!

  • If my squinting at the tiny picture is correct, the reversing sensor kit itself can be had for under $30 on eBay (just search for 'reversing sensor' and sort by lowest price).

If you have a spare afternoon and a decent proficiency with power drills and routing interior wires then you might want to consider DIY. The kits come with the hole saw bit - so just drill four holes in the bumper, push the sensors into the holes (they lock in themselves), run a wire from the reversing lights power to the sensor box, connect the sensors to the sensor box and run the last wire from the sensor box to the display at the front of the car.

Actually now that I write it out, that's a lot of steps. So this deal isn't bad :)

    • Please post link for DIY instruction if there is one.

    • It's the PAINTING that makes the deal good value.

  • mg_k, can you let us know how good it is once installed.

    • Looks great….good job….gav my color code to them ….the installer brought the sensors painted with exactly the same color and installed without even a cratch mark…very happy with these guys.

      • great to hear! I am getting mine next wed, its good to know that they know what their doing :D

  • Would like to install 1 if they come to SA.

  • They came to install the sensors on my ford falcon today.

One thing I found is that the beeping sound is very loud. (Abit too loud - at least it is not soft).

Other that that, I am rather impressed with their services (and price). I recommended them to my neighbor.
