I saw the recent deal for the Zhiyun Crane M for $300 at Ted's Camera but I cancelled my order after comparing the two devices.
FYI last year I bought and sold a Zhiyun Crane v1 so I know a bit about these. The first bullet point below is a big deal for me.
Feiyu A1000 benefits:
- The 45-degree elevation design at rolling axis of A1000 ensure the viewfinder screen will not be covered by rolling axis.
- Comes with the Sony camera control cable worth $30 that didn't come with my Crane.
- Firmware has been updated so it can handle a 1.7kg load - also huge when compared to Crane M which as far as I can tell is still just 650 grams. Really no need for the larger Crane or A2000 anymore unless you are using massive lenses.
