Xiaomi Huami Amazfit Cor.

Not technically a bargain but seems a fair price. works out less than the Chinese RRP if you use cashrewards. So quite happy with it. cheapest i can find on the net.

Always wanted a smart watch, was looking at Xiaomi band 2, then its not having much features.

This ticked all the boxes for me considering size/function/price.

Also comes with 2 free screen protection films.

Cheers

“Not technically a bargain but seems a fair price.” Best chance the website name to www.fairprice.com.au then

      Yes.

Just let the battery go flat to stop the watch.

That's a fitness band not a smart watch.

Also want to warn you, like most fitness bands, this can come off easily without you noticing it. I've lost my band 2 many times without realizing it. If you knock something it'll loosen. What it's missing is a loop to keep the band from opening up.

    So does this one btw.

    • I have miband1, 2 and this one. The amazfit cor is the tightest one.

      • it's not about tightness, it's about whether it stays on if it gets knocked.

So when the knob at the end comes loose, the band isn't going to fall off right away, so you will still feel it on your wrist and not realize it's come loose. But it eventually will fall off as you move around some more. You may not realize it when it finally separates from your wrist. Especially if you're busy and there's a lot on your mind and you aren't paying attention to the thing you expect to be staying on your wrist.

        • I had xiaomi band 1 for 18m and Band 2 18m and Bip for 6m. I wore those 24/7 except on charge.
I never had the band fell off once! I changed 4 rubber bands though.
The trick as I commented in other posts is making sure the band sits flat on your arm, so your arm bone is not pushing the band out of the holder which is the reason it falls out.

        • @Jamesx: that requires you to wear it tight which will lead to sweating. I like wearing it loose so my wrist can breathe.

        • @lostn:
If you have it really loose, it will not be pushed out anyway. Same rule apply, but you do need the genuine Xiaomi replacement hand. Or for Bands, MiJobs are even better.
I have it loose normally and tight in sports.

        • @lostn:
Four of us had 6~7 MiBand over the past 3~4 years, we never lost even one! 2 Band 1 were dead after 18m.

        • @Jamesx: I don't have it 'really' loose. Just loose enough that it doesn't hug my wrist. It can rotate a little bit. And it can travel up and down my wrist by about 5 cm.

If it gets snagged on something (you reach into tight spaces a lot) it will get undone.

I guess you guys wear it tight, or really loose. I've never lost a watch, but I've lost my Mi Band more than 5 times (luckily found it later).

That's why i only swear by Fitbit. Cuz they will replace lost ones free of charge.

      • that sounds generous. How would you go about proving you lost it?

If they designed the band like a normal watch (a loop at the end, not a knob that goes into a hole), they wouldn't come loose so easily.

        • That's exactly the design of Amazfit Cor. It's no longer same as miband 1 and 2.

        • @presentv:

Not accoring to the pictures it isn't.. Look at the third picture, shows rear view. It's the same design as Mi Band

        • As long as it has been used before and is actively paired to an account. They have no issues with replacement as they deactivate the serial on the lost one so nobody can pair it within Fitbit.

I just contacted them. Their customer service was impeccable.

Just explain how you think you may have lost it. And send them a receipt so they can replace under warranty

  • how does this compare to Huami Amazfit Bip. Can see the amazfit do not have pop out issue.

    • Going by the specs first thing I noticed battery life is significantly less than Bip.

    • Depends on whether you want a band or a watch.

    • I'm waiting on a BIP deal.

  • this is a band according to their website because of the size, perfect for me as i don't want a big watch. but still has some function.
