Hard to say. Even between people to people same model could have different outcomes (skin colour, thickness…tattoos). Also Mobvoi isn't really known / used by sports people.
If you are after seriously good heart rate monitoring then check https://youtu.be/TLxoXqqX5CU?si=tW7GfRIGZZMe3K-8
If you are just after day time wear and prefer smartwatch-centric watch (as opposed to sport-centric) then I guess most smart watches are good enough.
Friends don't let Friends buy Mobvoi…
Mine is fine
Mine is kinda fine, but I get some weird things going on. Will try to name them in case someone knows about them. Could always be my phone being too aggressive with power saving
-I often miss calls because my phone doesn't ring, but my watch isn't vibrating either
-sometimes when I am in the car, I will be in the middle of a call and the watch will take over the call and I have no idea why
-I have it set to automatically detect exercise and sleep and it does seem to detect the exercise but I feel like it only occasionally detects sleepI haven't had the time to do a deep dive into this so it could be fixable, but some of this stuff is just stock standard functionality that you would fm think just works out of the box. Also the levers that are available to pull are quite minimal, so I might hit troubleshooting dead ends quite quickly
Curious how long does the battery last?
Mine is the 3 ultra gps and it has the transparent low power lcd screen, I get at least 2.5-3 days as a smart watch but the best thing about it by far is the fact that it has an old school low power lcd and so it still works for days if I can't get to a charger for basic time and date functions
When it was released 2 years ago, the battery was average. After Wear OS 3 update, the battery has improved to 3 days even with few workouts.
Just don't bring it near water and expect the warranty to be worth shit
Warranty checklist - Has the Watch ever made contact with any of the following:
Salt water? No warranty
Chlorinated water? No warranty
Hot water? No warranty
Soap water? No warranty
My 4 year old one still works great
My 3 Pro was so good I bought a 5 Pro.
Nfc to make payments or door access only?
Payments yes, door access? Never thought there is one for android
NFC is only for payments
You can make payments with it
Wish I could take back my watch fit 3 for this.
The watch fit 3 just has such a small amount of space for music, its so frustrating
I use this purely for music when running (via YouTube music) and have to say it's been flawless for this with no drop outs at all. About 4-5 hours battery life.
I use a diff watch for tracking.5 hours battery life?
Listening to music. Yes.
Hardly the primary purpose of the watch overall but this is what I use it for exclusively due to the onboard storage.
If I'm running longer than say an hour or two I'd usually have my phone.
Would this be more iPhone friendly than current WearOS 3 watches ?
Marginally, but why are you buying this for an iphone?
Thanks.
My son doesn't like Apple watches and his Fossil battery is toast.
He's happy with just phone notifications on the watch.
Side question, any recommendation for a smart watch for teenager daughter?
apple or garmin are great
Don't put it underwater.
What is the app like for these, please, anyone?
it's WearOS, mate
Cheers, that's got to be better than the Wearfit app my current watch uses :(
Was buying tomorrow damn it.
And then missed the restock lol
Have 1 from Amazon. Dead at 2nd days after I tried to update the Wear OS after prompted.
Would this be a good heart rate tracker while exercising?
