on the plus side, they actually rang me today, explaining that the colour was blue , not white, and did i still want to proceed with my order?

Once bitten twice shy,i would stay away with Allbids. If the item is faulty you have to pay return fee. I have gone through it and after countless emails they admitted their fault and still did not refund the return postage.
