I've actually found the last couple of years the supermarkets have been quite accurate with their ordering, with little left over for the Monday sales. Going back a few years it was wonderful to pick up Lindy bunnies for $2.

Also, the biggest sales seem to be when the Orthodox Easter doesn't fall on the same day or within a week if Easter because there is still demand for the eggs at near full price.
