NO - Don't do it.
I did and got hit with the highest rate of 39.9c/KWH + GST … and 3 hikes in the 1st 3 months, YES !!
On top of that the worst support ever, always overseas to poorly trained Filipinos, ( no offence to them, just that they where not trained)
Nightmare 4 months, so don't be fooled by these tasty promos. The worst energy company, overly complex billing whereby discounts apply to next (not current bill) my gas went up 50% and electric about 30% in 2017.
Cost me a few $100 before I switched out
Amaysim does this too.
Amaysim has owned Click Energy since April 2017

They were probably OK before then
@redhotchilli: that explains. Next thing you know they'll send their support team overseas too.
@lgacb08: Their support system is already overseas and is not great
@redhotchilli: that explains why their address is the same and bills are identical look.
Same here, rates increased 25% on January 1. Goodbye.
Don't do it. These guys are one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Their customer service is absolutely appalling.
Do not join. I joined 3.5 months ago though there email (with promo code). Never got the first month credit and the on time payment 35% off is credited to next month. So in effect you pay additional 35% in front.
No deal! The $150 is offset by the higher rates when compared with other providers. I agree they make it a bit harder to compare their rates by having an overly complicated discount system.
Do not go with 1st energy either!
Oh yeah, that's right.. I got 3 bills in the 1st 4 months and you had to wait 12 months to get the other half of the offer, and 3 months to get your discount.
No one could explain it to me and I never got a response to any escalation.
DISASTER !I am with this provider currently and did not know they are that bad. Of course I don't pay attention to the bills I get :|. going by the comments here, I'd better switch to another company.
I flicked them and went to Alinta. Click took 3 weeks to reply to an email query
WARNING DO NOT JOIN. You can never get out of the contract as they have a hidden term allowing them to avoid the pre And post contract pay on time bonus. It will cost the average consumer at least $600 to change suppliers.Anyone that knows how I can get out of this without
losing $600 please help. They are TOTALLY smug about the scam when they inform you.LOCATION in deal please.
i.e.: Click Energy currently supplies electricity to Victoria, New South Wales and South East Queensland.
Horrible experience dealing with their sales ppl before. Very poor communication and didnt seem to have any idea about anything.
Click Energy hiked my peak rate to 50 cents per kWh. AVOID like the plague. Use http://wattever.com.au to compare the best rate!
$75 credit in 12 months time? Do they factor in inflation?
