I noticed Bing Lee is running an online only sale.

They have some good deals, especially if you use the 5% off coupon - 5newsoff

EDIT: Just noticed Sony SAVS350H - Only $249!!

Mitsubishi - MR-385B-W-A - 385L Top Mount Fridge - $599 (or $569 after coupon)

Samsung - SRS599HNW - Premium SBS Fridge - $999 (949 after coupon)

Samsung - RV510-A01AU - RV510 Notebook - $559 ( $531 after coupon).

Feel free to add more.

  • The sale seems pretty ordinary and the prices appear to be that which you can achieve by bargaining with the salesperson.

I suppose the 5% off might cover delivery, in most cases it won't.

+1. These are really only bargains when compared to normal Bing Lee prices. It's like Harvey Norman having a sale.. it's not really a sale when prices are inflated to begin with! Anyway, thanks for sharing mate, I had a good look at RAC and split system aircons.

edit: one thing I found interesting is that you can bargain in live chat, or over the phone with them. Would be interesting to see if they will price match.

You can have it pickup at a store and pay no delivery charge. So its not bad - you can buy off the catalog and avoid the lines

Jesus, what ever happened to a good boxing day sale. Now it's only the uninformed and tightarses that run out on boxing day to the shops to be greeted with some pretty damn ordinary 'specials'.

You used to get video games for $5-$10 and technology, cameras etc would be discounted by over 50% at some places.

I just checked that Mistubishi fridge - RRP over $1000. http://www.comparison.com.au/search?q=mr-385&submit=
      So, $569 seems very cheap….

Up until a couple of years ago BL used to have good prices on certain items. Now they're very ordinary, not that far off from Myer and Harvey Norman.

And the panasoinc 46" full HD tv is amazing price!

  • Anyone else having problems applying the coupon code 5newsoff?

    • Yes coupon not applying for 5% off. The free delivery coupon still seems to be working
