Sydney to Perth 49.95… that's frightening to think of

I booked that a few years ago! Can’t really complain, flights were on time and crew was professional. Red eye flight though, worth every dollar.

  • Booked 26 hours in Sydney. Any tips for pulling an all-nighter?
I've done 24 hours without accommodation for NYE, but not yet 26…

    • +4

Is that extra 2 hours really going to do you in?

      • I once did a stopover that finished with me having about 42 hours no sleep. I enjoyed it though as it was Singapore.

Pro tip, air travel is hard when you can't sleep and schedule a stopover.

I was walking for about 5 hours with my full bag and on like 42 hours no sleep by the end.

I'm a bit hesitant to use Tigerair considering their shoddy track record. I usually pay a bit more and fly with Jetstar. Considering a worst case scenario. What happens if a flight is cancelled? Do they leave you high and dry or are they obligated to put you on another flight?

    • +2

High and dry. At least you'll be high. And dry.
My booking ended with a $30 Kogan voucher. So high and dry with a free pie maker!

      • was going to say what about paid accomodation… then realised you did it without accomodation…
would be tempting to do if I was younger

"What happens if a flight is cancelled?" - well… that goes to any other airlines, includes JS too

They will most likely put you on the flight, but it might be a day or two.

        Wow a table! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

      • The problem is not how often they are cancelled, but how you can be waiting days for new seats.
No way would I fly Tiger at peak periods.

But they were generous with vouchers for $150/person/sector when our Bali flights were cancelled.
