$39 for a Large 51 x 71 cm Custom Canvas Print (normal $200), DELIVERY INCLUDED - CanvasLab

70

Just bought a $39 Canvas for my wedding clients - ScoopOn says Perth designated but I Canvaslabs.com.au is nationwide. Not a bad price for a nice 51x71cm canvas print.

  • Does this have a wooden frame? Is it always split into three? What resolution is acceptable?

    • Levi - Yes, a wooden frame with metal fittings to hang onto a wall. The price is for 1x canvas. If you want it broken over three frames, this would be at extra cost.

      • Hey Canvaslab, I am in Sydney and just wanted to confirm it is also a free delivery in Sydney Metro before I buy this. Thanks!

        • I want to know that too .. I'm in Melbourne.. would I get free delivery?

        • shopaholic - Yes, the deal is currently open to WA, NSW & QLD. $39 delivered.

  • RRP is $140.. plus they give you $60 gift voucher for your next purchase, so really a $100 saving off the RRP. Anyone ever ordered off these guys and can comment on quality of prints?? Still an awesome deal if they are decent quality..

    • bargainben - I know you can take this with a grain of salt, but the quality is very good. For example, many of the lower end prints come without a laminate. Ours do, and we use quality machines and pigment inks. Hope you give our service a shot.

i looked up the ABN of this company/person, and they are not even registered for GST !
According to ABN lookup website (Aus Government)
    Just for your information

    • Hey Shmahoo - that would be because we have not turned over $75,000 [yet].

  • one thing im worried about is when the picture is enhanced to that size then i'll see lots of pixels due to the low setting i put on my slr camera.

    can anyone comment on this?
should i start taking ultra high quality > 10 meg size photos?

    • If you've got a DSLR then you should be shooting at the actual resolution - disk space is cheap. Plus, shoot raw and make sure you buy the most expensive lenses…

That said, you have to consider the viewing distance - for a large print you will normally be viewing from 2-3 metres away. If you've got a good photo, then it will probably look good - and will look better than a bad high resolution photo.

BTW consider how SD or even HD TV looks on a large screen (bigger than 70x50cm).

    • Hey vsia2165 - Please send through your image and we can review it. The email is [email protected]

  • Is Deliery free Australia-wide?? Looks like a good deal, but with nearly 800 solds, I would guess the delivery time would be 4weeks+ from the date of ordering. Can the rep clarify on the delivery time?

  • lovepub - delivery takes about 5 days. We are working on approx a two week turnaround, three on the outside.
