Size matters.
Crap, I just bought the AV1200 model for a few dollars less….
These work really quite well. Sucks that they essentially take up a double power outlet due to size
I've managed to force a another into the second hole
hope it doesn't stuff up the third hole.
There's only two. Just a standard one
Have you tried a Triangular Double Adaptor ($2 at Kmart)? Being on an angle, that often frees up the 2nd point.
i was gonna ask can I plug the powerline thing into this adapter? would it still work?

Most manuals say they need to be plugged into the socket directly but I've run several of them via adaptors and it's never been an issue.
@bozbargain: awesome, thanks mate. might get one then….but have you noticed any drops in ping/speed? (for online gaming)?
@homersyd: Speed, yes, at times but I think ping was pretty consistent throughout. Really depends on your wiring I believe and what else is running on that circuit.
won't have any different. even with a very basic power board still works the same.
@leetec: cool thanks guys. Although after some research online, I think I might just get the AV1000 as most reviews stated you would never get the theoretic max. speed on the box. and since the AV1000 ones are almost half the cost (when on specials) then I might just get that…now just need to find a good deal :)
I thought that was a pack of paracetamol for a sec!
You and me both.
For those who have Foxtel, they have been handing these out free of charge on several occasions in case there's no ethernet port near your setup box. Worth giving them a call.

I got the last deal for about $10 more. They are great. No problems over long run, green lights all the way. They are large though, if that matters.
